Favorite Crafts

I am a doll collector who lives in the Chicago area. I have 2 young girls and I work full time in software development. In my spare time I enjoy sewing, reading and spending time with my family.

SInce my entire family enjoys reading we visit the library almost every week as a family outing. I primarily read Science Fiction and Fantasy. I have read (and re-read) the Lord of the Rings, The Hunger Games, Kim Harrison, Patricia Briggs, Wool, and the Percy Jackson series. I also enjoy reading to my children.

We also enjoy visiting the local museums. The Museum of Science and Industry (the Fairy Castle is amazing) and Field Museum are our current favorites.

Most of my TV watching is shows picked by the children so I watch a lot of My Little Pony and Monster High. When I pick the show I enjoy Sherlock, Psych and home improvement shows.

I enjoy sewing clothes for my daughters and for all of our dolls. We currently have several American Girl dolls, Heart for Hearts dolls, Patience (Wilde Imagination), and Ellowyne (Wilde Imagination). My husband also collects Evangeline Ghastly (Wilde Imagination).

You did such a beautiful job on sewing the white "My Fair Lady" dress. The black and white bow really set it off. I also want to thank you for the pairs of white gloves.
