My name is Michelle (she/her, they/them)

I love to read and make art! My favorite medium is watercolor but I dabble in other mediums occasionally. My favorite book genres are gothic horror, mystery, and fantasy, but I try to read a wide range. It's exciting to get good recommendations for something I might not pick up on my own.

I'm also an avid knitter and love fiber arts of all kinds. I taught myself to knit at 14 and have been doing it ever since. I've recently gotten back into embroidery as well.

I'm a host and member of several book clubs, a knitting circle, and an art group. I enjoy connecting with other creatives to share our different projects and ideas with one anther.

I'm definitely a talker and I'm hoping to find a pen-pal. I used to write to family members all the time when I was younger, especially my great-uncle who passed away several years ago. I'd love to get back into the habit of writing and to have someone to correspond with again. There's nothing quite like an old-school letter in the mail!

I'm a bit of a magpie too. I love anything colorful, whimsical, or a bit odd. I think my home is best described as maximalist or eccentric with a good amount of thrifted decor and art.
