I am a retired high school teacher. I taught accounting, desktop publishing, and basically the Microsoft Office Suite.

I have two grown children with seven grandchildren between them....five boys and two girls all of whom I adore!

I enjoy working with my hands so I have given a try to all types of things: sewing, crocheting, quilting, beading, cake decorating, and all types of crafts.

The television is always on whether I watch it or not. My favorite shows are usually the mini series on HBO or ShowTime. I am waiting for the new seasons on The Borgias, Dexter, Spartacus, and Camelot. I also find Shameless to be funny and sad at the same time. Revenge has kept me entertained and watchful for each weeks new episode.

I am new to this swapping idea and hope to find it to be a great, creative outlet.

I have lots of black and white in my house so those must be my favorite colors! I do like all other colors with the exception of orange--not too crazy about that except in the fall leaves.
