I love curling up with a good book, drawing, knitting, Islam, house plants, watching movies, surprises, and taking walks at dusk. I am currently in love with ATCs, and I love anything hand drawn.

I live in Canada, so I'm used to having snow seven months out of the year. Spring makes me happy because it means the end of snow and wearing lots of bulky layers. I'm a substitute elementary school teacher, I get to meet lots of kiddos :) I used to live by the ocean, but now I'm living in a landlocked province, so I miss the ocean a lot. I have a kitty named Peaches. She's a big sook and likes to lay on me when I'm reading. I am also currently fostering a sweet bun named Magoo.

Favourite animals: rabbits/hares, elephants, birds

Favourite foods: fruit, smoothies, mac and cheese, tea, coffee

Things I like..

Animals, stamps, bees, Islam, stickers, plants, pocket change from random countries, office supplies, Freddie Mercury, tiny houses, Pokemon (Charmander, Cyndaquil, Vulpix, and Eevee are my favourites), books (the older the better), Nikola Tesla, astronomy, little wooden elephants, Studio Ghibli, Disney/ Pixar movies, DC (esp. Batman), the ocean, sea glass, movies, sunsets and sunrises, birds, long road trips, Bill Nye, typography, Girl Guide/Scout crests/badges (I'm very active in Girl Guides and love collecting different crests for my camp blanket), cute felt objects with faces.

Dislikes: I don't like a lot of chocolate (a little is ok but I'm not a fan of dark chocolate at all), anything with pork or gelatin, smelly things, too much pink.. it's not a long list, I enjoy most things :)

Collections/ Wish list

Little wooden elephants, hijabs/scarves, used stamps, stickers (even the teacher ones), a 100 Serbian dinar note (it has Tesla on it), foreign coins, pretty paper, ATCs, items made of felt (I love soft things), "Greetings from.." postcards from Postallove sent from your country :) (so far I only have the Netherlands and Finland)

I am addicted to books! I had to buy a second book shelf recently... I can't stop adding to my collection. I especially love really old books and science fiction. My first degree is in English lit, I got to do a four year degree reading books and writing about them... it was great!

I love reading science fiction and dystopian novels, my favourite is 'Oryx and Crake' by Margaret Atwood. I also love 'Fahrenheit 451' by Ray Bradbury, 'Walden' by Henry D. Thoreau, and 'Leaves of Grass' by Walt Whitman.

I love 'The Prestige' and 'Tonari no Totoro' ['My Neighbor Totoro'], anything Disney/ Pixar [Especially Wall.e, Beauty and the Beast, and The Little Mermaid], science fiction, or with superheroes.
