About Me
My favorite things to do are reading and sewing anything Art Deco. I work at home for Liveops (Virtual Call Center). I still love my job after all these years lol... I enjoy Diamond Dotz and Crafting. No Sew Baby blankets & Quilts. Adult whimsical coloring books, Rock painting and letter writing. I collect postcards, new and old. I have a small stamp collection, as I use to work for my local Post Office.
Favorite Music
I love many different types of music, from the golden oldies to current top songs.
Favorite Television
I watch Tru TV, Exploration Unknown, Mysteries At the Museum, weather channel, discovery & history channels. My newest favorite is from the British TV, 24 Hours in A&E.
Favorite Books
I read just about anything-Including Non-fiction & fiction. Currently reading "american girls about town" A short-story collection.

I enjoy history and learning new things about other cultures and traditions. Trying new recipes is a fav. past time. Cross-stitch is a passion of mine but haven't had as much time to sew as I'd like to. My sewing machine hasn't seen much use lately but hopefully w/all the creative members in Swap-bot I'll find some inspiration to start back!
A few likes & dislikes
Books retro-classic or any uplifting things-smiley faces! I collect stationary, recipes, holly hobby items, snoopy/Woodstock anything Peanuts. Maxine & her bunny slippers are one of my favorites! I like to collect mugs drinking glasses in all colors. Costume jewelry & handmade. Candles. I enjoy coffees & teas, all flavors, Hazelnut is a favorite coffee, but I like to try new national & international varieties/flavors. Dislikes include: humm, don't think I have any... :-)

Hi, I'm one of your partners for the "Leave a Nice Profile Comment #6" swap. It's awesome to find someone else who enjoys watching Tru Tv. We don't get it here in Australia so I have to download the shows to watch but I really love the variety that they have and the real life situations. One of my favourites is Bait car, I really can't believe the stories people tell when they get caught, lol.
I love sewing myself =D I am just relearning how to use my machine and my sister in law is teaching me how to read patterns. Like you, I hope that SB will inspire me to create more! Have a lovely day =D
Hello Penny! I'm from Indiana as well and I love Harajuku girl style. I used to live in Japan for a short time in college. I love coconut, too, yum! That's a great idea to leave your favorite scents.. I always spray a little something onto letters to make them smell lovely. <3 Nice to meet you!!
