I don't get a chance to read much but I like to look at magazines. My favorite types of magazines are decorating, quilting, sewing and paper crafts.

I used to own a florist so I love flowers. My favorites are peonies, hydrangeas and gerber daisies. I love to go to craft shows, flea markets, thrift shops and antique shows. My favorite things to collect are notepads, stationary, note cards, post-it-notes, journals, list pads, fancy pens, decorative pencils, etc. I love the "shabby chic" look, things with roses on it, items that are painted white. I also like the farmhouse decorating style.

I love to make paper crafts, especially 3-D items like gift bags, boxes, etc. I like to collect scrapbook paper and cardstock, stamps (favorite companies are Stampin Up, Papertrey Ink, My Favorite Things, Unity Stamps, and Taylor Expressions), ink pads, dies, punches, watercolor paper, watercolor pens and anything paper crafting related! I also like to crochet dishcloths, washcloths and face scrubbies so I use a lot of cotton yarn.

Favorite colors: green and pink.

Favorite decorating color combinations: brown and blue, blue and yellow, sage green and plum, and aqua and coral.

Crock pot recipes: My kids love Chinese food so any kind of recipe like that would be great that can be served with rice. Would also like to try some meatless main dish recipes. Beef and chicken recipes are always a favorite too! I am allergic to gluten, so I prefer recipes that are gluten free or can be adapted to gluten free.

Note: I can't have anything scented in the house, like candles, potpourri, sachets, etc. I don't drink coffee or tea and I don't have pierced ears.

My daughter is thirteen years old. Her favorite color is turquoise blue. She likes to bake and cook. She likes jewelry of any kind, but rings and bracelets in particular. She loves beauty care items like lip balm, lip gloss, nail polish, paper facial masks and hand lotion. She likes to read and write. Her favorite animal is the grizzly bear and loves anything with a grizzly on it. She also likes all kinds of stuffed animals, especially Ty Beanie Boos. Please no food items.
