I am back from an almost year long break! Craft space is organized and I am super excited about Halloween!

I live in OR with my family. I like to garden and go on easy hikes. I really enjoy identifying and collecting wild plants and mushrooms. I am a Gaelic Pagan, Earth Loving, Goddess worshipper. Some of my favorite creatures are Dragons and Faeries. I am here to learn new things, get inspired and challenge my creativity. Things I like to craft with are fibers and drawing with pens, pencils, collage and sticker art, feathers, sparkles and rainbows. I have taken art classes. I am really looking forward to making ATCs. After a few months of being here, I realize that my dexterity and fine motor skills are lacking so I am doing a lot more mixed media than I had anticipated. I am one of those annoying Dave Matthews Band Fans that goes to as many shows as possible and 80% of the time won't listen to anything else. Outside of that, I love Celtic, folk music, anything with violins and brass, bag pipes and a didge make it all the better. I love oldies, Motown, Classic Rock and grew up on 90's alternative and grunge.

Ishmael by Daniel Quinn taught me about humanity. Harry Potter by JKRowling is like my family's Bible. Anything from Neil Gaiman, anything at all especially audiobooks where he is the one narrating, he brings me to new worlds and introduces characters that are compelling, creepy, heroic, and terrifying. The Red Tent was one of the most influential books I have read on womanhood. I have been in college for the last 6 years so I haven't had a whole lot of time for reading...

Likes: Animals, gardening, tea, ATCs, paper crafts, faeries, dragons, Witchy items, butterflies, feathers, birds, Crows, peacocks, parrots, wolves, dogs, bunnies, flowers, herbs, coloring pages, envelopes, nice quotes, babies, midwifery, goddesses, spirals, quilt squares, politics, stationary, mindfulness, Harry Potter, Ren Fairs, Museums, boots, hippie clothes, belly dancing, the naked body, magic, cauldrons, incense and oils but not perfume, pokemon, MLP, Sherlock, and Anime for the kids.Just figured out what Kawaii is and I love that, too!

Dislikes: Religious quotes, ephemera, superheros, right wing propaganda, cutesy kiddie items, stuff that smells like cigarettes, patriarchy.

I don't know where to start... I started out Drawing, then started sewing, I made baby carriers for 4 years and sold over 1000 worldwide as Freehand Baby Carriers, Reborn babies, dreamcatchers, beading, painting ceramics, crocheting, drop spindle spinning, a little knitting, and anything in between that is going on...

Today it is all about glueing paper and tape and learning to paint. I love coloring with gel pens, pencils, doing deco journals and finding cool images. I love pocket letters, card making, envelope making, and ATCs.

I have 3 teenagers, work full time in Social work and family development, experience mood disruptions, am an empath by nature and often experience fatigue. Creating is my self care. Thanks for making it fun!
