Just some facts about me: I'm German and I live in the city of Muenster/Westphalia. I'm a Film Festival Director and work in other film and culture related fields too. In my free time I love to hang out with friends, travel the world, read, watch TV or movies and I love going to a Pub Quiz aka Trivia Night once a week. I even host one once a month.

Things that I'm into:

sports (in general). lighthouses. bridges. dogs. orcas. armadillos. squirrels. photography (especially b/w or sepia). old Hollywood movies (my favorite actor is James Stewart). celebrities in general. food and drinks. water (islands, oceans, beaches). books. writing. tasteful nude pictures of female bodies (especially b/w or sepia). everything hygge. petrol blue (as a color).

Things I don't like: clowns. lavender.

And I'm not into flowers.

And most important: I will ALWAYS send. I have never and will never flake. If any item/package hasn't arrived please let me know and give me the chance to resend before rating. And please be patient... due to the Covid craziness it might take a tiny bit longer for stuff to arrive.

And I don't do much crafting except making envelopes from old coffee table books and magazines.

Languages: German and English. En ik kan een beetje Nederlands verstaan.

I've watched a fair amount of movies, professionally and in my free time. I love Old Hollywood movies like The Philadelphia Story - Now, Voyager - It Happend One Night - His Girl Friday - All That Heaven Allows, An Affair To Remember... But I'm also into movies like the Lord Of The Rings trilogy - American History X - Batman Begins - Star Wars - Call Me By Your Name - Winter's Bone - Drive - Dogville - Parasite - The Florida Project and many, many more. And here are some documentaries I really like... It Might Get Loud - The Dixie Chicks: Shut Up & Sing - The Booksellers - Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am - Scatter My Ashes At Bergdorf's - I Am Not Your Negro - Senna - The Biggest Little Farm...

True Blood, Friends, This Is Us, The Handmaid's Tale, Dexter, Lost, The Big Bang Theory, Grey's Anatomy, The Affair, Californication, Game Of Thrones, Nashville, 2 Broke Girls, The L Word, Sherlock, Sons Of Anarchy, UnREAL and many more.

I'm not into chocolate... what's wrong with me? But I do love marshmallows - the best ones I've tasted so far are Barú from Belgium (milk chocolate covered), The Mallows from Denmark (love their Summer Berry and Lemon flavors) and Smashmallow from the US (love their Cinnamon Churro). I'd be super happy if you'd send me Swedish Fish (the red ones) from the US. And I love real liquorice from Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands. Salty or sweet. Hard or soft. I like them all. And Pepermunt from the Netherlands too.

Besides that I love veggies! And ice cream. And nuts.

I'm a big foodie, love to try new things.

I only drink herbal and Chai tea. I'm not into fruity or green tea. And a friend of mine is desperately looking for "Stash Orange Spice Black Tea". It's her favorite and we can't get it in Germany. So if you happen to find that tea at your local supermarket you would make me - and her - super happy by sending it.

And I love Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing or their Ranch Dips mix. And Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing. Both are hard if not impossible to get in Germany.

I happen to have an overly sensitive nose and a lot of scents give me a headache, no clue why!

So I prefer not to receive anything with a strong "perfumed" smell.

Please avoid lavender. Can't stand that smell/scent.

For bigger swaps like gift swaps: My amazon wishlist includes stuff I use a lot and books I would love to read but don't own yet. It does not have to be this specific edition of the mentioned book. It can always be either the hardcover or the paperback. English or German editions will both work. Plus I don't mind if you have a pre-read version of the book you might want to send.
