September 15, 2026 bad gateway again. :(

August 5, 2026 Bad Gateway for the last 3 days. I am putting things off so I can get my swaps out. This is very bad!

I am spending as much time as I can to get swaps out. I click on the swap and get bad gateway. I try and try and try, the swap shows up. I click to get my partners details. Bad gate way again, I try over and over. I cannot spend so much time waiting to get details. I run out of time so I come back and the same thing! Help and excuse me for sending out some swaps on the very last day possible! :( 6-15-26

I will be traveling from March 29, 2026 and don't know how long I will be gone. I will keep all the swaps up during that time and get them out while I am traveling.

Friday the 13th, February 2026, the folks at the post office here says that Greece will be closing all post offices!!! Is this even possible? Will there be no more snailmail in Greece???

February 9,2026 My Mom's letter arrived! woo hoo

January 19,2026 Some snail arrived some as far back as October 10, 2025. My Mom's letter isn't here yet. (11-4-2026) I am starting to worry!

January 12, 2026 I got my first snailmail since October 2025! woo hoo The newest rumour is that the main post office on the mainland needs employees and because of all the holiday days snail mail is far behing. I am hoping my Mom's letter arrives at some point. She sent it November4, 2025!

01-07-2026 I believe Greece snail mail is the problem. I received a text from a friend in the UK. She asked why I haven't let her know that I received the postcard she sent from her vacation, my Christmas card or my birthday card. So I am afraid that the US and the UK are not the problem, Greece is. :(

11-4-2025 My Mom sent a hand written letter. It's how we communicate. A standard sized envelope. Not the size a postcard needs. Today is 01--02-2026 it still has not arrived. :(

9/12/25 The post office was closed here for 3 days due to some kind of maintenance. Some emplyees are on vacation. They have not hired more employees in the last 20 years. The island has doubled in permanent residents. The line today was VERY long. I had 4 swaps ready to mail. Sadly I cannot stand for that long. I don't know if I can get there tomorrow. None of the swaps are late. One swap I sent to the US in late October has still not arrived to my partner. I am so sorry folks, please be patient. Correction the partner finaly got their swap!

I've evacuated with my family! I have one swap and one re-send! 1-5-2025 The re-send I will fix when I get home! I will try to get my swap out on time from the mainland!

October 7, 2024 A package was sent from the USA. It never arrived. We traced it from here and from there. It went to Athens then to a different state in the USA and then to Athens and then to 2 other states in the USA. The tracing # expired. So that package is gone. :( Then my Mom sent me 2 different packages using the exact same address. One arrived and one got sent back to her. My local post office told me to use E82. So I did. I have changed my mailing address. I hope this will help.Please use P.O. Box E82. I hope this will help no more missing packages and no more return to sender packages.

7/21/2024 I am messing up left and right these days, my apologies, a few personal problems and some extra work and so on and so on and so on. . .I apologize, I also have another 3! Just when I thought I would finally be at a 5 rating after many years. I am truly sorry and ashamed.

March 1, 2024 Kalo Mina or Good Month, just a quick update. I will rate ASAP on all swaps I receive. Sadly it is taking months for swaps to get to where they are going and for me to get them. So please be patient, sadly up to 2 months.

12 2 2023 What a week I have been through. . .5 days ago I woke up in the hospital, AGAIN, due to my epilepsy. Today I was driven to the hospital by ambulance again. I started thinking I had diarrhea. After over an hour on the toilet and screaming from pain I called my husband. He called the abmbulance. I was begging and screaming. Turns out I had food poisoning. I described to the Dr. what I was going through. He said, oh, that's OK, you had a mild case. I pray no one ever goes through even a mild case of food poisoning. The pain is EXTREME!

I am unable to join any swaps at this time. I have to stay in the traveling ones. I believe it would be unfair to others in these swaps. I will start joining other swaps ASAP. Enjoy your swaps folks, you never know what is going to hit you!

July 27. 2023 Postcard stamps are now double price from here. was 1 Euro about $1.10 is now 2 Euros about $2.20, I started to cry. Swap-bot and Postcrossing are my main and almost only hobbies. I will now have to cut way back. I am unemployed after 48 years of working.

June 10, 2023 My 3rd day with covid. 102 temperature 24 hours a day and so on, no electricity 2nd day, no internet the first day, today all that is working but I am not. All swaps sent on the 8th. My husband is negative and will return to work Monday.

June 5, 2023. . .my husband came home and went stright to bed. He didn't feel better the next day. Sadly he has caught the coronavirus again! He had all 3 shots! We have isolated ourselves. Our son brought some groceries and left them inside our gate. uuugghhh, what was the purpose of 3 shots???

May15, 2023 The main post office here is in the process of relocating. I hope my snail mail won't be late. It was closed last Friday and today. I dropped my swaps off in the boxes outside the old place. There is no boxes outside the new place.

May 8, 2023, struggling with tendinitis. One wrong move and I scream in pain. Trying everyday to get small jobs done without moving the rwrong way.

anuary 17, 2023 Going back over old swaps. Some are expired. I hope to be better this year at keeping up with rating and checking on being rated.

November 8, 2022, want to let y'all know, it is taking average 6 weeks to get a postcard from here to the USA.

November 1, 2022, buried one of my 3 cats. Today November 4 buried the 2nd of my 3 cats. A type of "cat leukemia". :( Today the 3rd one was checked out. She does not have it. She is getting shots to protect her from it. To go from 3 to one in such a short time hurts horribly.

Had the funeral for our 100-year-old friend! He was/is awesome and sorely missed already. 10/10/2022

September 25, 2022 I am better. I have joined a few swaps. I am so tired but working every day since April will do that. It has been rough. I am grateful for what I have and what I don't have.

My dad had back surgery, he passed away, the news I got is his body wasn't strong enough to recover from the surgery. He was almost 81. The hits just keep coming. . .my husband's older (75-year-old) brother had his leg removed, he is in hospice care and not expected to live, alcoholism combined with diabetes. August 18, 2022, he died today. Today was the funeral of a 47-year-old mentally handicapped fellow. He came to the store every day, made silly jokes, improved my day and mood. He was in hospice for about a month and died of a heart attack. No internet at home for 9 days so far. Hours on the phone with the provider, a new router and still nothing. Tomorrow an electrician is coming. . .updated 8-8-2022 (I'm using the internet at work on my break) 25 August a terrifying storm passed over the island, I do not remember such a furious storm, the loudness and amount of thunder was scary and lightening, WOW, took out most of the phone service and fried most of the internet routers on the island.

October 26, 2021. . .my dad mailed me some blank Christmas cards from California, USA. . they arrived today, June 29th, 2022!!! To make it worse, the cards are mildewed and stuck together!!!

The mail, uuuggghh, I mailed a postcard to the USA it took about 5 weeks. During that time, I re-sent to my partner and took only about 2 weeks. It makes no sense! I drop them off inside the main post office to a clerk or outside thd building!!!??? Sorry! June 7, 2022

POSTCARDS: I love postcards such as recipes, turtles, frogs, squirrels, flowering plants, flowers, any from any movie, ad cards if they are funny or clever, bible verses, UNESCO sites, freebies, Stay Calm and..., Twilight series (loved the books and the first movie, liked the other movies), Game of Thrones books, loved them, any from any TV series, any holiday anytime of the year, cupcakes, cakes, tea or coffee, printed with encouragement. PLEASE, send any postcard you want. I have a VERY limited choice for sending.

TEA: I prefer NOT to receive green tea because I don't like it. I also do not chamomile tea. I DO LIKE to try flavors that are not common.

Burgundy and Pink are my favorite colors.

I love flowers, flowering bushes, flowering vines. Especially if they smell good. All Cacti but again if they bloom, even better.

Texas and Oregon are my favorite states.

I like sending and getting snail mail of any kind.

Tex-Mex food is my favorite, 2nd favorite is Greek.

I like reading. I read almost every book that comes my way. I keep one in different places so I can always have one available when I have time to read. ha ha ha
