I couldn’t choose between these two. Besides them being my favorites right now, both are in my Top Ten of all time. I love how different they are, yet both give me visceral reactions.
Head Over Heels by The Go-Go’s1984 and this video screams 80s — the hair, the clothes, the way Belinda dances. They played their own instruments and wrote their own songs.
Growing up, I have mostly listened to Indian music. Until a few years ago, I had not explored any other music. I was living in NYC from 2018 for a few years and it’s here that I really developed my music taste.
My all time Fave Song is ‘Something Just like this’ by The Chainsmokers & Coldplay. It’s a beautiful number and I can listen to it on loop forever.
I am sure you have heard this number but if not, do give it a try.
