I collect schtuff. Just about any craft supply has been in my husbands craft room....er.....man cave. It's a sad day when you have to share space but I manage to keep it a mess so i can eventually take it over....bwwwaahahahahahaha.
I love everything scrapbooking, art journalling, beading, sewing, knitting, needle felting, and all purpose. You never know when inspiration will hit you and a fantastic piece is born!
Likes:
1. Lime green, orange, and yellow
2. Rainy days so we can stay inside and paint
3. Tea - black, chai, unique ones, dejarleeing, samplers
4. Industrial style - metal baskets, fan frames, film clips (love these, 5 HEARTS for that!)
I like the following and collecting all supplies that are associated with them:
I've recently started exploring mixed media and bookbinding.
I'm sorta into sewing (tackling a marie antoinette costume for halloween) but I'm not a fabric collector. I do love ribbons, buttons, and trims though.
Not looking at other's profiles for dislikes....
We all know that there's old, dated, and used shit that we have that nobody is really into.
plastic canvas crafts, country, primitive, dolls. Not so much into that
as seen on tv items
ok, i just have to address this. Please don't send your bits and bobs. Pieces of "ephemra," paper, disney stickers, scraps, dollar store items etc. Honestly, some of it really is junk (not "inspiration items") and it just gets thrown out. I would rather have one item that was truly thoughtful than an entire box of junky things or swaps that you're passing on which you don't want. We all know there's nothing worse than spending time, effort, and money on a swap just to get a whipped together junk package in return. :-( sadness.
Reality TV baby!!! Those housewives get me everytime. Pretty much I'm parked on Bravo but I'll head over to Create, HGTV, and VH1/MTV sometimes. Project Runway, Top Chef, Top Chef Masters, Gordon Ramsay
kawaii memo pads, stickers, stationary, and stamps. Doesn't have to be name brand, can be those korean ones too. REALLY INTO WASHI/DECO
ART SUPPLIES: watercolor pencils, watercolors, acrylic ink, pitt pens, paint brushes, water soluble crayons, pan pastels, paint pens, gel pens
BOOKS: bookmaking, mini albums, collage, image transfers
SCRAPPING/COLLAGE: chipboard, letters, journalling blocks, stamped images, metal embellishments, brads, eyelets, digital images, marie antoinette/french stuff, damask, anything halloween and creepy, oddball is good findings! REALLY INTO ENVELOPES AND BAGS to create hiding spots in my journals
CRAFT SUPPLIES: REALLY INTO glitter glue..... it's next to godliness :-), glitters, crafters "the ultimate" glue, acrylic paint, wire and jumprings, beads, crystals, wool and needle assortments for needlefelting, the list goes on and on.
HANDMADE GOODS:
a. ATC's
b. cute aprons (always a fave)
c. needle felted hearts
d. kids toys, miniatures like fairies, toadstools
e. mini scrapbooks, raw paperbag albums
Check out my Etsy Favs. I have a ton of stuff in there from $0.50 - hundreds of dollars. I like to fav things as inspiration for things to make in my home (that's usually the most expensive things). Instant heart for etsy favs
I keep a ton of journals for different things so I like to include little bits and things in the journals
Supplies for any of the "things I need" category
Your handmade goods are extra special to me and will earn a spot of honor in my house.
(this is for the kiddie swaps I'm in)
I love my daughter so much, and what would a swapping site be without a little daughter swapping love too!
she's 4 and big into hello kitty. I swear there's something in the hello kitty stuff that makes her jones for it.
she also loves arts and crafts, coloring book, my little ponies, barbies. she can always be found playing dress up and in her play kitchen. mostly she's a regular 4 year old and into everything, and on every piece of furniture!
she's just happy with office products to pretend with, dollar store items, and whatever comes in the mail for her.
I make cards, that's probably my specialty. I also like making mini albums too.
I love shopping for wishlists and profile surprises, it's the thrill of the hunt. I always read profiles thoroughly and try to definitely avoid dislikes. I ask that you please just read through the applicable part of my profile in return. I like to give people lots of ideas so you don't feel baffled as to what to get or it I will like what you send. Thoughtfulness shows and I always appreciate your time that goes into a swap.
I always send my swaps on time. I usually send them early. Spontaneously, at random, I add on delivery confirmation just to keep people honest and to add to the excitement of a package coming. I love to check delivery confirmation, almost obsessively :-) it's the anticipation. If you don't receive one from me (esp email swaps) please let me know. I like to PM when I send off swaps so you have an idea of when to expect it
Ratings: I rate immediately after I receive. I'm sorta a newbie and trying to get my ratings up so I can join groups. So I do what I would want someone to do for me. I rate fast, and I ship fast (but with thought)
Angel: I believe in good karma. I believe it's always nice to put out a random act of kindness so I will angel spontaneously if I see someone that's deserving of it. I don't angel everyone, due to funds, but I will choose people to angel as I am able. Please don't ask for an angel, I contact group leaders for angels and always check the forums for flakers/read profiles for gimme list flakers. Thank you's go a long way in my world.
I collect mainly large and mini memo pads, lettersets, and sticker sheets. I like flakes though and won't say no to any kawaii item.
Brands I like are: San-X: Kireizukin Seikatu (Raccoon), Kamono Hashikamo (platypus), Sentimental Circus, Berry Puppy
Kamio or any fairytale character (alice, snow white, red riding hood)
Midwave: Bear's Life,
Crux: Furry Bunny, Nostalgic Cat, any of the animals really, any of their fairy tale (Magic Wonder Girl) alice, etc
Please no poo, skulls are ok though

I have had to remove you from the group Etsy Buyers and Sellers because you no longer meet the requirements. I however hope all is well and that you will come back when your ratings improve.
I'm actually very sad that our private swap will never happen. I was looking so forward to getting pictures from the places I used to go in Norfolk:( Oh well...I feel bad for the people who HAVE been flaked on more!
~Audra
P.S. I hope you're ok, and that if you come back...you make things right to those you've disapointed!!!

hope youre doing ok and we can penpal it up real soon!
Sorry I'm late posting this, but I've been out of town. Thanks for the unused postage stamps form the Swap Tag US-Rated Swappers thread! I'll be using them to send out more swaps! :)
Hey !! Thanks for the Wreck This Journal Angel !! I dont have an "angel image" so i leave this private swap rating instead. Thank you for getting the journal from Etsy and writing all the instructions ! Some of them are very interesting.
I like the skulls in the cover, and that the journal is light and small, so i can carry it with me.
Remember to write a note for your partner when you send swaps, its cool to met new people from other countries with a small letter !
Thanks so much again !! You are a great swapper.
Cheers ! .Cometa
...Yay!!! I'm glad you liked the stuff I sent:-) I have another notecard with a recipe on the back for a "Knickerbocker Glory", and I so want to fix it!!!
~Audra.
Ooh, thanks so much for all the stuff you sent for the 'wishlist fill a flat mailer' thing on the forum! You managed to include loads of things off my list - I love the ATC backgrounds, and the Alice images and the glue dots and the chipboard blanks - and also the... the... Um, sorry, I have no idea what it is, but it's pretty! The lovely shiny translucent fibrous fabricky stuff!
Your emails keep bouncing back :(
...I'm glad you liked the ATV sleeves...and I'm happy to make your daughter smile:-) Happy Swapping!!!
