About Me

I've been married for 61 years to the love of my life and my best friend! (Where does the time go?) He's great, and is always on the lookout for interesting things for me to use in my crafting! Our rescued orange striped tabby cat has grown to a massive 17 lbs. The Vet tells us he is healthy and just a big cat! He has brought joy and a lot of humor to our household. We have downsized and moved to Montana to be closer to the kids and grand kids. I miss the farm animals (sheep and chickens) but God has opened doors to show us that this is where we need to be for now.
I've had a few health issues, so haven't been as active this past year as I would have liked but I'm looking forward to 2024 and lots of "fun".

Things I Like:

Chocolate is a favorite (natch!!) and I enjoy a good cup of tea which I have in one of my tea pots by the fire each night! (I like all flavors of tea, but camomile is NOT a favorite :)) I love to read. (see below).

I like vintage ephemera, pretty paper of all kinds, nature items (like leaves/small shells, etc.), Asian images, small embellishments for cards (buttons, charms, beads, vintage items, flowers, etc.), tea, tea cups/tea pots, and bird (especially rooster) images. I also like sheep images, (we raise Dorsets, and they're all white). Die cuts are a favorite.... AND PAPER.... did I say paper?? I love ALL kinds, textures, patterned, plain, bright, soft..... you get the picture!

Favorite Colors:

I like all colors, but fall colors and natural colors (browns, creams, yellows/orange/reds) are a favorite)... I'm really not choosy every color has a place in my work! :)

Books/Magazines:

I like to read: Historical mystery novels, light hearted contemporary novels good Christian fiction.

Things I Dislike:

"Cutesy" Images (like Hello Kitty,etc.). Please do not send me dark or risque images, please, nothing Halloween. Wholesome images only, please. Though I like most all kinds of tea, but Camomile is NOT a favorite. Thanks!

NOTE:

If you don't receive a swap from me......please, please, please pm me!! I want to be sure everyone gets what I promised to send to them!! The mail sometimes is "funny" :) (I guess) and so I would rather re-send something than have you go without or be disappointed!

Response: So happy you liked the cards. Yes, it's been fun watching the elk, they've been back almost every day, and the buck has a HUGE rack on his head! The sheep are NOT impressed, LOL.

Thank you so much for accepting the challenge to send to me! I love the flower card, so adorable! And those ATC supplies are awesome!
