My name is Angela Ryan and I live in the suberbs of Columbus, Ohio on a beautiful little farm. I am the mother of six children although I've only given birth to three and I have two handsome grandsons. I absolutely adore my family. I have three dogs- a lab (Abby), a jack russell (Trixie) and an english bull dog (Ms. Priss).

My mother encouraged me at a very young age to enjoy the arts in all forms. She would buy me paint by numbers, crayons, clay, chalk and honestly anything that she felt would help mold me. She also taught me quilt, crochet and sew. I love all mediums of art but personally I prefer to sick to painting and drawing with some occasional carving.

Art swaps are new to me. One of my beautiful children introduced me to ATC & Swap-bot. I'm excited to see what kind of challenges will be given ;)

I love everything artsy! I love color and lots of it. I prefer hand drawn/hand painted art as that is what you will recieve from me. I love seeing how beautifully artistic people can be!

I like most genres of music but stay away from hate rap and screamo. My favorite bands include Lynard Skynard, Aaron Lewis, Creed, Seether, Evanescence, Hinder, Staind, AC/DC, Eagles, Ozzy, Slipknot Mumford & Sons.... the list could just go on and on and on!

Although I rarely have time to read when I do I like the suspense and [sad to admit] romance.

It is rare that I have time to sit at home or in a theater to watch a complete movie. I am such a busy person!!

ANYTHING Disney but Bambi is my favorite! Shrek Slingblade The Green Mile Shawshank Redemption Sixteen Candles Battleship And honestly I can't remember any other ones.

I enjoy the outdoors and love, love, love the ocean..... I find that my soul is most at peace there. I could sit and listen to the waves for hours and hours. I also love horseback riding and hiking (although life and age has slowed both down). I love to travel and look forward to visiting the many exchange students that I've hosted over the years. It would take years to reach them all but that is my goal! I love Jesus and believe that religion is ridiculous but a true relationship with God is what is important. I don't feel that any religious belief is better or worse than the other. Who am I to judge what you believe? Just don't be offended if you ask my opinion and I tell you. ;) I promise the same courtesy.

DISLIKES...... Scary, demonic or satanic items or art. Rude people. ATC's that lack creativity (please no sticker slapping - I spend a lot of time creating small works of art, please show me the same effort). The unwillingness to try new things or to challenge yourself. Anchovies. Yappy dogs or clingy cats. GLITTER....It gets all over everything and never, ever wants to leave!
