OMGosh!! The subtitled films are the worst for me. Don't get me wrong I absolutely LOVE them, but when I'm craftin' and trying to do that at the same time, it drives me nuts! I tried watching La Femme Nikita while working on bottle cap shrines, it was a disaster, I had to rewind and such. Arrrrghh!!
I just can't sit for over an hour and a half if I'm watchin' my TV. I tried working on my voodoo doll but I was afraid I'd miss something. Tonight I shall finish it!
It was too hot to eat. Besides, I'm saving my so-bad-for-you-but-oh-so-yummy allowance for the funnel cake and spiral fries at the Ventura County Fair next month.
I went to the Citrus Festival on Saturday. You didn't miss much. It was smaller than usual. I bought: one lavender soy candle and 20 "bug in a box"es. (Party favors - I'm making goody bags for my 4-year-old cousin's bug-themed birthday bash.) I also: got my blood pressure checked, got my blood sugar checked, and did some recon on the plans for a huge new development the Limoneira company is proposing.
I'm back! It's been a busy weekend :) The celebratory White Russian turned into 3 White Russians. I raised the first one in the air and said, "This one's for The Marmots!" My friends had no idea what I was talking about..."amateurs"
