I am a poet and biologist also doing part time grad school. I try to keep busy with things like - strength training - ultimate frisbee - running - crafting - homework lol - writing always :) and I love sending letters and crafting, so finding swap-bot seemed like a great addition to that. Hoping to get involved in fun swaps. I've been particularly enjoying the junk journal swaps.
I enjoy all sorts of music, but I tend to gravitate towards hard and heavy music.
My last two concerts were Marilyn Manson/Rob Zombie/Orgy/The Hu and Muse. But the one before that was Peach PRC.
I couldn't live without music and will listen to most things, but listen to a lot of metal/industrial when I'm working out.
I've learned a lot about other people with this section, so I figured I'd put one in.... I'm starting to realize that I am not being in any way helpful
A: anachronistic items... I like old timey things like typewriters, fountain pens, wax seals. things that used to be so "normal" fell into disuse and now they make things feel special
B: baking (i have a very good brownie recipe if anyone's interested), black (99% of my wardrobe is black)
C: crafting, chocolate chips cookies, cafes, cute cards (I have so many saved from birthdays and other things past), coffee (even though it's bad for my digestion)
D: dessert (massive sweet tooth unfortunately)

Q: quoting random silly things people say
R: rice
S: sushi, skincare, sunscreen, stickers (I tend to swap a lot, I don't often put them on things but I like receiving them and giving them out)
T: typewriters (I have a vintage typewriter, so I might do some typewritten notes)
U: underwear (I never leave home without it)
V: Vulcans (star trek, anyone?)
W: water... couldn't live without it?
X: x-rays.... wow that technology
Y: Yeast (where would baked goods be without it???)

I always do my best to send swaps on time and with care!
If you don't receive something from me, please message me. I would much rather fix a problem than have someone feel disappointed.
I joined this site because I have so much stationery and have been sending mail to my friends back and forth for ages, but it's hard to find people that are excited about sending snail mail. I've been sending letters since I was like 8 and I have no plans of stopping.
I love receiving mail, but I also love curating letters that people are excited about receiving.
I do my best to rate everything in a timely manner.
Religious materials - this just isn't something I connect with. Thanks!
