I'm 43 yrs old and just recently moved from a small town in Missouri to Chicago (Big life changes!) I'm kind of a geek I guess, though my friends use words like quirky and eccentric to describe me lol. My kids are all grown and and I find that I have a lot more free time in my life. I'm not a very social person so other than work and an occasional convention I don't get out much.I love sending mail,and receiving, so I thought I might really enjoy swapping as a new hobby to keep me busy!

I love B movies, sci fi, movies from the 80s and 90s. My favorites are Flash Gordon, They Live, Star Wars (I'm a nerd!) Pretty in Pink, Valley Girl, Grease, Pee Wees Big Adventure (Pee Wee always makes me laugh) Rocky Horror Picture Show, Shawn of the Dead (guilty pleasure movie) Hocus Pocus

I love Supernatural!!!! My youngest son and I go to the Supernatural conventions every chance we get :)

I love Kawaii (but NOT hello kitty), vintage, retro and just cute things in general. Halloween is my favorite holiday! I'm a thrift store junkie. Leopard print is beautiful (Shows my inner Peg Bundy) I love art, my faves are Mark Ryden, Nouar and art that's fun. I'm a collector of way to many vintage things, Funko pop figures ( I love them so much!) I really enjoy cool magnets, fun socks, cute ink pens.kitchen towels and fun throw pillows. I just discovered Lush and World Market ( Such wonderful places!) My favorite colors are red and gray. I'm a coffee addict. I have a dog named Butters that is part of my family.
