I hadn't gotten any snail mail in months, which is what brought me here. I love to make things and share things and this seems like a wonderful community to do it in!
The first thing you should know about me is that I friggin' love avocados. They are delicious, especially in guacamole form. I'm a vegetarian and aspiring vegan, with an appetite fit for someone much larger than I. I'm trying to learn how to cook, but as it turns out I got my moms can't-cook-for-shit gene.
My motto is always look on the bright side of life, to the tune of the infamous monty python song!
~~ I'm currently looking for a pen-pal so if you're interested, feel free to send me a message! Doesn't matter where you live, near or far, USA or Spain, wherever you are, whoever you are, I would love to get to know you via snail-mail! I'd be looking to exchange letters and the occasional care-package sort of thing with art goodies and CDs and whatever we can think to include in it! :)
I'm a writer, reader, and a lover of words. The fact that we're able to express ourselves in such intricate ways using language which we created and that, without us, is all complete nonsense is incredibly alluring to me and kind of incredible (not to mention mind blowing). It's like they say, say any word 100 times and it completely dislodges itself from meaning. So there are these things, words, that are really beautiful and important to our every day lives, but have no meaning besides the one we project onto them.
Another passion of mine is art, especially sculpture and pencil work :) If a picture is worth a thousand words than how many must a sculpture be worth? A lot, I'm sure! This is probably an interest we share, seeing as the center of this website is essentially sharing little works of art with people all over the world!
Spending time with my loved ones, however, beats them all! Friends and family are what keep me going, I'd be nowhere near as happy of a person without the constant support I've had from my family and friends, they are by far my top priority-and they deserve to be! They take very good care of me :)
