HI, sounds as if you've had a rough few years, I'm glad you are back & swapbot does help. I always look forward to seeing the new swaps and I love email swaps. Best of Luck in 2016!
Thought I'd follow up and say I've been thinking about you and hope your day is okay - actually, more than "okay"!
I'm into languages also; I find them fun, interesting, and insightful. I wanted to learn Latin and Cymraeg (ancestry is Welsh) awhile back but didn't get too far...love the "love" languages - beautiful Spanish, French, and Italian. Not fluent in anything, but Spanish is the closest. What about you; are you fluent in several?
Nice profile. Your interests are quite interesting.
Just curious as to who Saint Aidan is. We named our son that. My husband wanted a nice Irish name that Americans would be able to pronounce :). My daughter's name is Gemma and we found out shortly after she was born that there is a Saint Gemma. I like to have the Saints biographical info for their scrapbooks or what have you. I am not Catholic I just find it interesting
Hi Cal, so glad that you are getting along a lot better. Sorry to hear about your mom and dad passing. That's really rough when it's so close together like that. It sounds like you have a very fascinating life. Mine is pretty drab. Graduate, get married, raise kids, and before you know it you're old. I didn't see that coming. LOL!. Oh, and this is for the swap Read my profile and leave a nice comment #2. I'm not as good a writer as some of your swap partners, but I'm trying. This actually is my first time for this. You keep well and my prayers are with you. Evie
i was thinking maybe we should make a cupcake swap of some sort - whether it be pictures, items, what have you :D
I am sorry about your parents and all of that :( ~hugs~ But God has plans for them, he probably needed them suddenly up there :) ~~Catholic member of St. Agnes parish, LOU, KY USA :)~~~
just posting back as a thank you :) - i unfortunautly didn't get your name to comment on... but TOO BAD I'll comment anyways >:D
plus it's uh... ~cough~ a form of procrastination as I've been typing a 6 page paper that is due tomorrow and revising it since about 1:30 this afternoon ((it is almost 7pm now))
Hi Cal!
I hear the Starbucks thing quite often, I'm from Seattle where it was born! ;) Do you actually know how to do calligraphy? It would be great to learn, I think it's lovely.

Wow! You know your "stuff" - I don't like using that word but I did because I have lethologica - for a writer it's terrible. I also am ill, have bipolar, so I know what it's like to love everything and know yourself but at the same time, not really.
I loved seeing all of what you really like a lot. I am into calligraphy, photography, books, jazz, classical, altered art anything, art deviating from the norm...and the commonalities go on! You sound like a great person to be around.
I am very sorry to read about your parents and you being ill. I am glad you are semi-ok now.
Happy Belated Birthday! How did you celebrate?
I really enjoyed reading about you, Cal! Thank you for the opportunity to get to know you. I hope we meet again on Swap.bot. I'd take a spot of tea with you if we met in person. :)
