I'm one of your partners for the profile comment swap. I'm an animal lover too and would rather make my charitable donations to animal causes than any others. They can't speak for themselves, so someone has to. I make sleeping mats for the animals in my local ASPCA and have always has rescued pets of one kind or another. Because I travel so much I currently have a rescue parakeet (he's easy for my husband to take care of when I'm out of town). Good Luck!

Yes, I am super busy all the time. But thats the way I like it. I'm a pretty fast reader and have great comprhension so 2 books a week is not hard for me. LOL I enjoy a variety of genres. basically whatever my mood decides what type of book I will read. Historical romance is one of my favorite at the moment. I can't stand to read mysteries though! My daughter however LOVES Nancy Drew! lol

this is Sophie, your partner for the "Profile Comment Swap"! I found your profile short but unique. To be honest, I'm quite happy about that, since I have been through the profiles of 5 other partners for this swap who alle wrote a whole BUNCH of stuff. It really requires some time and attention to do this, so your profile is a nice change. Your interests are really extraordinary, which is fabulous. I mean, Roman/Greco - mythology isn't a typical interest. But I can understand it! I've been learning Latin at school for about 9 years, so I learned a lot about Mythology and began to love it. It's a fascinating thing. I mean, not only Roman/Greco mythology, but old tales, and myths and stories in general. It shows so much about the human psyche - and it's more bloody and erotic and violent and exciting than most thrillers from nowadays ;)

I also have a great interest in art history - but I'm not someone who knows all correct terms, I'm just an art lover. I like the works of artists of many epoques, such as Botticelli, Caravaggio, but also Munch and Dali. Each epoque has something special and wonderful to it and there are extraordinary artists in each style who are worth knowing.

So, thanks for sharing these extravagant interests with us and keep enjoying the beautiful things of human culture.
