I am an avid drawer, painter, writer, reader, sender-of-mail and collector of odd and beautiful things. I bike everywhere until the snow stays on the ground, my bike is old fashioned with back pedal breaking and I let it get banged up so it wouldn't get stolen.. I like to draw mermaids and fairy-ladies, and spooky autumn things. My favorite season starts and the end-of-summer and ends just past Christmas. I love ghosts, and haunted houses, and (usually classic) Gothic fairy tales. Some of my favorite tv shows/movies include: Amelie, Criminal Minds, Dharma and Greg, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and law and order. I don't even know where to start with books, they are like my best friends. I loved Victor Hugo, Anne Bronte, Charlotte Bronte, Charles Dickens, Anais Nin, Angela Carter ( Read "The Bloody Chamber"!), Dame Darcy's Frightful Fairytales, Grimm Brothers...A little Princess... Stargirl... Poetry- Silvia Plath, Emily Dickensen, EE Cummings... Music; Yan Tiersen, Mariee Sioux, Alela Diane, Simon & Garfunkel, Iron and Wine, Nebraska-ish Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, songs by artists I find along the way... I love drawings by Rotem Anna Diamont. I am a big fan of glitter- glue.
