About Me

I love mail, sending postcards and sharing fun supplies.

I live with my husband and 5 pets: 2 labradors and 3 cats :)

I love swimming, reading, watching tv/movies, cross-stitch/embroidery, walking, the beach, playing games. I play a lot of animal crossing, stardew valley, the My Time series and other cozy games.

I like swapping postcards, notecards, notes, washi, stickers and tea (only herbal tea, not black or rooibos).

Postcards

I prefer artistic cards to touristy cards, but I love all postcards!

Anything in my themes below is especially welcome, but I'm also happy to be surprised in the theme.

Would especially love Padme postcards from the women in Star Wars series if that's something you have.

I love a wide variety of books, but i can be picky!

Recently read; the Bookshop Detectives - Dead girl gone by Gareth & Louise Ward, and Sanctuary by Ilona Andrews

Swapping

Please don't add extras! I have so many supplies, i'd rather just get what the swap says. Quality over Quantity!! :)

I'll rate as things arrive, and post can be slow. We'll get there! I appreciate every single swap and make sure to rate, but also the magic is in the mail for me - I don't comment a lot/discuss much here on swap bot.

I try to just sign up for swaps that really interest me. As my life has gotten busier, I no longer have penpals, but still love mail.

Comment: What a super fun constellations card!! I love it 🥰 and the fun stamps you chose to send it, too! I haven’t seen any of these LOTR NZ stamps before and I absolutely LOVE the 10¢ frosty looking tree one! I just wish it was just as big as the LOTRs stamps 😂 We have been having way more nights with the northern lights visible than we typically do….I absolutely loooove them 💕 I’m not familiar with the southern cross constellation…I wonder if it’s the one called “Cygnus” on the front of this postcard…that one looks like a cross. The constellations that are easy to spot for us, and on clear nights always visible, are the Big Dipper and the Little Dipper. (Which are both featured on the front of this postcard even!💕)

Comment: Thank you for the AWESOME Leia/Wicket POSTCARD!!Oh, yes... I LOVE REBELS! Super awesome show! Do you have a favourite character? We loved Ahsoka .. hoping so much for a season 2! They left it unfinished and I am antsy for more!!! Did you enjoy? This past weekend we went to NYC comic con -- Ewan MacGregor was there as was his wife (she plays Hera on Ahsoka!) but we didnt get to meet them because there were there only for 2 days and of course, not the day we were there *SIGH* I did meet Dee Bradley Baker (voice of all the clones!) it was amazing he is a true icon!! Hope you keep in good health. How I love LOTR & The Hobbit. Makes me feel like crying that ban on US mail. & I understand about International travel as FL is having spike in COVID-19, Omicron, & other variants. Sigh.
