I am not currently active and don't expect to be in the foreseeable future. If you wish to contact me send an email with the word "swap-bot" in the subject line.
If any of you in my groups want to become leaders, please let me know.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ May we find peace in the world and learn to love one another accepting that we agree to disagree.
The mean girls on here ruined swapping for me, and I'm not referring to my swap partners-they have been pretty great, the 3's and 1 I have on my profile were earned and are accepted with no ill feelings on my part.
The atmosphere in July 2013 when I moved and fell behind in my swapping reminds me too much of the book "Lord of the Flies". I have made a concerted effort to eliminate drama and drama queens from my daily existence.
The sea. The Sea. Always the sea.
All of it.
My swapping philosophy that I follow more or less consistently. Follow the rules. Be kind. SHOW GRACE. Forgive people. Communicate.
Ratings: Rules are rules and I accept my ratings.
I am a good swapper with a history of 100's of 5 ratings and stars - and in the blink of an eye, over 4 ones (which I honestly and responsibly encouraged my partners to leave in my anticipated absence - and are now changed to 3's) I've experienced what I have seen happen with other swappers...I have no solution to offer the SB community and it's incredibly discouraging for me to proactively be evicted from the groups I was part of and to receive messages that are unneccessary letting me know what a terd I am.
""Word to group owners and moderators** - receiving notification that you have a potential "flaker" in your group does not obligate you to delete them, unless it states in your group rules how you will handle this. You have discretion based on your groups history with that individual. I am sorry that I was removed from a majority of my groups during my absence without most of the moderators contacting me either by PM or by email.
I don't do drama. I have a house to remodel, horses to train and flowers to enjoy.
I pledge to rate!
I pledge to read your profile and prepare a package to your tastes to the best of my ability.
thanks so much for the striped socks! I will be wearing these very soon! (april wish --granting wishes group)
Thank you for granting a May wish! And thank you for feeding and taking care of a poor defenseless dog that needs it. You're awesome!
Great decluttering tips! Now just need to get my husband to do them!!! Thanks for Granting my Jan. wish - and for the cute little pink owlet!
Thank you so much for the wonderful white buttons. Exactly what I needed. And the book looks interesting also. Thank you for granting me a wish.
WOW!!!!!!! Thank you and hugs! For the fantastic and oh so generous package (huge box) you sent me! I love it all! The yarn color combined with the red you sent is my favorite color combination in the world. Don't know if I should knit first or needlework or learn to both at the same time! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Thanks for your kind note. My spindle adventures continue... I have played with it a little, but I have to do it in a cat-free environment. My kitty thinks that a drop spindle is the bestest toy on the planet! Sadly, her lack of thumbs makes her a poor spinner. :)
Thank you for the great photo postcard and the kind note that you sent for the "Thank you Swap-bot" swap. You are a talented photographer! Members like you are what make Swap-bot great. xoxo
Thank you so much for the RAK of ribbon. I thought I had left you a note about it when I got it. I love it all and can't wait to use it. :)
Thank you for the June wish.
Yay! Benign never sounded so good. I'm truly happy for you :)
