I love scary movies, the ones with things that go bump in the night. The scarier the better, but please no slasher movies. Also a fan of romantic comedies and romanctic movies, but I don't usually watch standard comedies.
I don't really have any particular favorities, just favorite genres.
I don't really watch many tv series, but there are several that I do pay attention to. Some of the ones top on my list are Fringe, Bones, Dexter, and King of Queens.
King of Queens is at the top of my list and I swear I've seen every episode at least 10 times. I love playing the dvds on tv when I plan on doing some crafting.
I used to read the books that made you think when I was still in college. One of my favorite books then was "The Passion" by Jeanette Winterson. That particular book surprised me by catching my attention so much that I could not put it down. I think that is probably the last book I read that I ever analyzed and enjoyed.
I love fantasy books with a twist of romance in them. A few of my favorite authors are Anne Bishop, Sharon Shinn, Patricia Briggs, Ilona Andrews, and Kim Harrison. I tend to devour their books and then read them over and over again.
I also enjoy a few suspense novels such as those by Dan Brown and a few of the Stephen King novels.
Reading is probably more my passion than watching tv.
Crafting is probably my main love. I'm always ready to try something new, but paper crafting is my favorite. I have stamps galore, am a scrapbooker at heart, and from here I stretched out into so many other crafts.
I enjoy cross-stiching in-between my bouts of paper-crafting. I find it very relaxing and I'm starting to do beaded cross-stitching which I find challenging, mainly because those little beads keep rolling all over the place.
I can't knit worth anything although I've taken classes for it. I find it requires too much concentration although I know that would eventually go away with practice. Just not my thing.
A few of the other crafts I would like to try are french beading, book binding, and letter pressing.
My favorite colors are blue and pink, but lovely shades of green are making an impact on me lately.
I own 4 kitties, each with their own crazy personalities, two boys and two girls.
I'm currently engaged to the most wonderful man after dating each other for 3 years. I couldn't be happier! It weirds me out sometimes how well we compliment one another's personality, but I think that's why it just works for us.
I work as an engineer by day and an Etsian by night, with a few hours thrown in for spending with my family.
I'm of Filipino heritage, but I call myself an American. I've lived in several placed in Japan, growing up as a Navy brat. This is my first time living in the U.S. for more than 3 years and I still find it a little strange sometimes. I like to go to different places here to ease the travel itch.
