NOTE: All my swaps are mailed out on Wednesdays. I work 9am-7pm every day except Wednesday and Suday (and no post on Sunday). The swap will be mailed, but I can only get to the post office on the closest Wednesday to the swap deadline.
Hello! I'm Raye :)
I'm a general manager of a national pizza chain. I work 50-60 hours a week, so penpals and swapping have become a nice hobby for my very little free time.
I'm relatively new to swapbot, but I have been penpalling since 2011, mostly through Instagram and Reddit, with a few found penpals through Postcrossing, I like to send and receive pretty mail. It's nice to receive mail that isn't bills :)
I live in a historically protected neighborhood, in a house that's been standing since 1890. We still walk on the original floors and lift the original sash windows.
I enjoy collecting and restoring antiques and vintage collectibles, specifically luggage and hard wood furniture.
When I'm not working, I enjoy practicing yoga and hula hooping (videos on my Instagram). I've been practicing yoga for about two years, and hula hooping for about 6.
I enjoy: folk music, alternative country, lo-fi hip hop beats to study to, and have a solid guilty pleasure for Taylor Swift and Post Malone.
I can sing all of Hamilton from memory.
I've driven across state lines to see The Wonder Years and Jetty Bones in the same concert.
An employee once said, "I didn't see you as a Dolly Parton fan!"
I would do anything to see Ryan Adams and Jenny Lewis live together. (They did a show about 3 hours south of me once but I couldn't get out of work)
I have watched and rewatched Arrested Development to a fault. I can recite most jokes on any given episode of 30 Rock. I will always have an affinity for Lost. Recently, I am a fan of Black Mirror, Live PD, Trinkets, Atlanta, and The Good Place, True Blood,
I love cooking competition shows like Beat Bobby Flay, Chopped, and Cut Throat Kitchen.
I like crafting envelopes, restoring and refurbishing antiques, and creating collage art.
I enjoy most any type of post card!
Black and white and antique are my favorites
Travel and scenery are always beautiful :)
I like trains and old architecture, anything steampunk related, or anything depicting life in the 50s and 60s.
I love hippie culture so anything colorful or tye dye is also welcome.
Anything related to music is also beyond welcome
Ephemera! I love vintage, eclectic and colorful ephemera :)
Hair decorations! I have dreadlocks, so anything I can tie into, wrap around, or hang in my hair is wonderful for me :) If you have a single hook hanging earring you cant find the match to, I would love to attach it to one of my locks.
Buttons or enamel pins. I can use them as "flair" for my backpack or work apron.
Stickers! I send at least three stickers in each swap I participate in (even if it's not required). I just really like stickers, and I think most everyone else does too :)

Another flaker in the making who cannot be bothered to send her swap. Americans are the worst flakers of all. After 16 years of swapping, I have learnt to be wary of the USA
