I am 51 and have lived in Arkansas for most of my life. I am a widow and the mother of two wonderful children. I lost my husband at the end of September 2021 after a short illness. I have a 23 year old daughter and a 19 year old son. I am Southern Baptist.

I'm a rather happy and content person. I like to see the joy and blessings in everyday life.

I love to read, create things with my hands, write letters, and make fun journals..

I started creating journals and I enjoy it. I like writing things down about my daily life. I enjoy reading about other people's everyday life and getting a glimpse into their world. My favorite journals are randomness and magpie journals.

My other favorite swaps are letters, chatting about books and fun mail.

I will be joining swaps that make me happy in 2023.

I will read anything that looks or sounds interesting. I don't really limit myself to one genre. I read according to my mood so that's why it varies from book to book. I like to read Historical, Regency and Contemporary Romance, Women’s Lit, Suspense, Non-fiction and Mystery. I am not a big fan of Sci-fi or Horror. That being said I will read a scary book now and then.

I like Sara Addison Allen, Sophie Kinsella, Olivia Dade, Kate Canterbary, Sonali Dev, Eloisa James, Kendall Ryan, Kristin Higgins, Lucy Score, Sara Donati and Eva Devon.

My favorite swaps are journals, writing letters, happy mail and small craft projects.

I like to be creative and find crafts to be an outlet for it. I am not an expert at anything but love to try new things.

I am interested in swapping for small items, postcards, cards, notecards, fun quotes, bookmarks and various crafting items.

I love anything to do with scrapbooking such as paper, stickers and embellishments.

I like bible verses and spiritual quotes. I collect quotes so the more whimsical the better.

I like doing journals.

My favorite colors are red, pink, bright yellow, purple and teal. I like shabby chic things (roses, lace, etc.)

I like cats and collect things with cats on them.

I like daisies, peonies, sunflowers and daffodils.

I like stationery, notecards, journals and neat pens and pencils.

I like to collect quotes about everything and bible verses.

Scrapbook paper, embellishments, stickers and other pretties.

I love chocolate. My favorite candies are Peanut M&Ms, Reese's Pieces, Salted Caramel Twix, Snickers, Milky Ways, and anything salted caramel.

DISLIKES:

I am not a big fan of dark and goth stuff. I also don't like sour candies or need any drink mixes.

Music: I love to listen to Top 40, country,
Christian and some classical music.
