I've been a lot of different things in my life, and I find it's still changing. I've been pursuing a masters in art education for a good number of years. I love making things. I dabble in everything from knitting and sewing, to metal working. I think there's few thing in life that are more satisfying then making something with your hands. I love to draw and paint. I've been playing with the idea of trying to break into the comics industry, or tattooing. They're a lot different, but I'm fascinated with both. Mostly, I just love being a goof, meeting new people, and having fun. My favorite things in life are pretty silly. I love animals, some of my favorites being Hedgehogs, Foxes, Bats, Raccoons, Pandas and Sloths. I also love flightless birds like Kiwis. A friend of mine told me once that I was way too chipper to be a goth girl, but I wore too much eyeliner to be a hippy. I think that sums everything up pretty well. :)
I love most music. Ok, well, a lot of music. I listen to a lot of Punk, rock, metal, pop, oldies, industrial, a lot of different things. I love something that can get you pumped up and energized, and something that you can sing along to. Right now some of my favorite bands are Less Than Jake, NOFX, Alkaline Trio, Sheryl Crow, and Rob Zombie
I love horror movies. I love zombies, vampires, werewolves, serial killers, haunted houses, you name it. I also love a lot of sci-fi fantasy kind of stuff as well ac action/adventure. Some of my favorites are Dawn of the Dead, Resident Evil, Twilight, the Strangers, Serenity, Any Marvel movie, The original Star Wars, The Watchmen, Independence Day, The Rock...Geeze, I could keep going.
I LOVE READING. Period. If you give me a book, and enough time (Hey, I'm a busy girl) I'll try it. I love fantasy and horror and things that can take you away, as well as informational and informative stuff. I have a lot of books on the occult and serial killers, cause frankly, I find them fascinating.
True Blood, Firefly, Sons of Anarchy, CSI, Dollhouse, Metalocalypse, Venture Brothers, Family Guy, the Simpsons, Cash Cab, Dirty Jobs, No Reservations, Fringe, Anything from Food Network or Discovery channel
I love anything shiny. Glitter, gemstones, metals, shiny or sparkly paper, yarn, etc. Love it!
I like a lot of the darker more gothic things too. Victoria Frances is one of my FAVORITE artists. I can fully appreciate dark brooding vampires and distressed maidens. Call me twisted, but I think it's romantic and exciting. I have a soft spot for skulls and dead things.
I love minerals and gemstones, especially ones like labrodorite and moonstone, anything with that little shine to it.
I love soft textures, fake fur, soft yarn, fuzzy things like fleece, anything that you can snuggle.
I like all foods that are vegetarian. Vegan is not necessary, I LOVE CHEESE.
I love all forms of art. From classical to more contemporary. I do not like the minimalistic modern stuff though. I think art should contain more emotion or thought that it takes to paint a 2x4 orange.
I like body modifications like tattoos and piercings.
Its hard to think of things I don't like. I guess that's good.. :)
I've been seeing a lot of wishlist swaps, and I want to get in on one, so I guess I need a wishlist!
