Thank you so much for the Get Well card! I was in surgery / recovery for a little over 5 hours yesterday. I was in pretty bad shape because I apparently have a severe reaction to the knock out gas. The nurse said i got a record amount of pills for pain and nausea and it still didn't help the pain or the nausea lol . They had started it before I even woke up because I started crying while I was still under. Silly me. I just remember being groggy and in a whooole mess of pain. They warned me that the CO2 they put into me to see better might travel to my shoulder and cause pain.. and of course.. it did. Why wouldn't it. lol. However. I feel a bit better today then I did yesterday. I can sit up and watch TV (yesterday I couldnt. It made me sick.) I have 3 entry points on my stomach and they showed my mom and BF photos of the surgery and they both said what they took out was pretty large. Good riddance! the BF is getting everything I need [sept when he's sleeping. I had to get up on my own cuz i couldnt wake him up lol I need an air horn! ] and my family is super helpful too. My mom bought one of those chair cushions and brought it over for me to be able to sit up more comfy. Its awesome and doesn't hurt as much as if I used pillows that don't support me very well. Ugh. ramble. lol. So, yes. Thank you so very much for the card. It's sooo cute. Dave loves it because it makes him think of his old cat, Sylvester! Perfect pick. :D
