About Me

UPDATE: We are moving June 1st! So... between now and then (and while boxes are being packed), please know things are hectic. I am so crazy! So if I forgot something, please let me know!

I am a wife, a mom and a minister. My husband and I live in Maryland. Country life is new for me after having grown up in DC. My daughter is 2 and provides lots of fun for me.

I love to craft and have scrapbooked since I was a teen. I never learned to sew as a kid but have learned how to now. I am new to quilting, but LOVE it! I can't get enough!

My Favorite Things

I love new quilting treats... fat quarters thread embelisments ribbons strippies turnovers buttons patterns any kind of fabric

And scrapbooking wise... I love stickers ribbons fun paper chipboard pieces

My favorite colors are pink and purple and I am girlie girl! Frills, ribbons, and did I say PINK?

I like Christmas ornies and would love them any time of year. I also collect crosses from around the world. My whole dining room wall is covered in them.

Favorite Books

I love books, John Grisham, Jennifer Chiaverini, Jeannette Oak, are some of my favorites. But I love children’s books too. As a former teacher, I love kids books. Dr. Seuss, Eric Carle, Jan Barrett, anything with color.

Favorite Television

I really am a tv person.. Bones, White Collar, Criminal Minds, but am finding a new love in GLEE!

Dislikes

I have a lot of allergies, so food is not something I can have...

I am not a knitter, so yarn is not something I would like.

I try really hard to make each package special, so if you are unhappy, please let me know and I will see what we can do to fix it.

Eden

My daughter Eden is 2. She is a girly girl who loves to create. We run out of coloring books weekly and our fridge is covered with pictures.

She loves Sesame Street, especially ELMO, and anything Disney.

She also loves Pez candies!

Comment: I don't know where to begin... I LOVE all the fabric you sent me and I LOVE that it's all coordinating! Plus the buttons... love, love, love them! My favorite has to be the little tiny one that appears to be clear but because of the coloring underneath if you look at it from above the colors come through, amazing. Thank you so very much for such a nice package, I wish I could give you more hearts :-)

Love the Tags and swap you sent!! All the Bunnies were adorable, and I LOVE the apron kit!!! I think packages like that are one of my favs, that have the pattern/instructions and all the materials to complete a project, and the tote will come in VERY handy!!!
