ATTN: for the Thrift store swap: My favorite find is a beautiful cross for my wall of crosses. I also love to find jewelry that can be taken apart and the glass beads reused (no plastic). I love Joyce Meyer or other Christian self help/motivational cd's/dvd's, Jim Rohn, Og Mandino, Napoleon Hill etc...I also like those clear acrylic boxy frames that come with a cardboard insert in like size 5x7 or 8 x 10 & I think they come in 9x12. (these are usually only a dollar or two) I also like those flip perpetual calendars that are not dated with motivational words or scriptures and pretty pictures. If you can find some paper crafting or rubber stamping/scrapbooking items that would be a score. I am not into figurines. But I love nice scented candles. (hate the smell of lavendar) I am always on the lookout for a perfume called Anne Klein 2. If you find that, I would give you 10 hearts! I love bath and body works foaming hand soaps-especially sweet pea! And the fragrance oils for a tealight burner! *don't like woodsy smells like pine, or lavendar. I hope this helps you to be on the lookout for something cool for me!
I'm a mother of 5 children (aged 9-20) and happily married for 23 years. We have 2 Shih-tzu's (adore them) and 3 new puppies and until recently 7 guinea pigs (that we also loved!). We're a Christian family who lives by the golden rule. I am a stamper who can't get enough of the craft-there just aren't enough hours in the day. I've been an Avon sales representative for 17 years and absolutely love it. I'm sure they will bury me with a catalog! If you need extra money, contact me and I'll show you how easy it is to make it with Avon! If you want to place an order through Avon directly, email me privately and I'll give you a code that you can get FREE shipping, plus a free gift from me!
Contemporary Christian but I also like pop. NO crap music for me. A little country does a body good, but not too much!
The bible and then any motivational or Rubber stamp related instruction books. Love current Rubber Stamp magazines.
I love Criminal minds and CSI Miami. Also like Deal or No Deal.
For the paper swap, I have most old stacks and slabs from Michael's and Joann's. Please don't send anything from them! There are a few current ones that I have not been able to buy that would be ok to send from. If you can still buy it then I probably don't have it. If you have the old stacks, so do I!
Rubber stamping takes the cake! But I'm also just getting into beading. I LOVE unique, delicate glass beads. Not into plastic or wood ones.
We survived Hurricane Katrina! Well, we left town a day before it hit, but our home had minimal damage and while it was quite an inconvenience, I know God had His mighty hand in it! When we returned from evacuation, as we went in to clean up the mess, I noticed one of my unmounted rubber stamps floating on the carpet. I picked it up and it said "everything happens for a reason". I dried it off, but left the dirt and dropped that stamp into a ziplock baggie as a reminder of God's amazing power. I will keep it like that forever.
I LOVE butterflies! My favorite. I love paper scraps and cleanly stamped images to play around with. I'm also a flower girl. I just love to create cards using rubber stamped floral images and victorian especially fancy ladies and vintage perfume bottles/clothing/shoes etc. I like verses to go with thinking of you, friendship, happy birthday etc. cards.
I use both wood mounted and unmounted rubber stamps. I can never have enough EZ mount. I like to receive grab bags of rubber stamps. I like to swap unmounted rubber stamps and embellishments.
I'm Christian so I love scriptures and elegant crosses.
I love "Basic Grey" and other similar papers. K&Co also floats my boat. Que Sera Sera is the bomb. Love that line.
I never have enough colors of Stickles and also flat backed small rhinestones to embellish my cards with.
I like pretty ribbons, buttons, brads.
Glaze pens are fab and I LOVE the clear glitter gel pen.
Stickers are ok, but truly prefer classy ones-like the ones by K&Co (3D). I also LOVE the gold and silver ones that have a lacey look (I think they're called Peel off's)
I have a collection of miniature clocks. And I like mini perfume bottles. I also can use rhinestone jewelry in any condition (stones missing, pin back broken etc) If you have a bottle of ANNE KLEIN II that you no longer want I would be SOOOO blessed to have it! I'm starting a wall of elegant, decorative crosses and would love to add to my collection if you come across a pretty one. I like vanilla scented items. Love Milk chocolate (specifically Dove!)
a final word...(and I have no intentions of offending anyone-just saying a word about me and my preferences) I'm pretty much a perfectionist. When I stamp, if there is a stray mark-I don't use the image (or I find a way to alter it so you don't see my "mistake"). When I cut my card layers-they are as close to perfect as I can humanly get them! I take pride in my work and will not send something to someone if I wouldn't want to get it myself. I EXPECT the best from people I swap with. I am not happy when I receive something handmade that the person who made it didn't take pride in-or simply passed on their mistakes to me.
I HATE evil! I am not into skulls and crossbones, or devils or anything demonic or dark. I'm not much into eclectic. I'm definitely not into crocheted or knitted items. I do NOT like unrealistic images such as smiling flowers or suns. I don't care for Disney themed items or cutesie bears. I don't like themed papers or embellishments...such as Halloween or St. Patricks day. I don't do much with hearts, stars, 4 leaf clovers. I hate foamies. HATE DARK CHOCOLATE! I can't stand to receive mail from a smoker. Not that I'm unappreciative, but It actually makes me sick to my stomach.
If I get a package and it satisfied the requirements and went a little extra mile, you'll get one! I appreciate the reciprocation!!!!

Response: Wow, I hope you like that item I sent! I spent some time deciding on the "perfect" thing, being that we have a really cruddy thrift store! That Antique Avon "doll" that I sent should be worth some money someday. Did your son like the Brand new tic tac toe board I sent him?
I do like the decanter, she's a cutie she is sittng on my shelf where I have things I have gotten from all over, Shane loves the the little toy,, the littlest things are the things he likes best.
Thanks for emailing me back! I enjoyed reading your survey, I love meeting new people. I would say butter pecan ice cream is my second favorite!
