Hi everyone! Due to a very persistent pen pal, I have made a swap bot account! I am excited to begin. I just finished my Bachelor's degree in Human Development. I plan on attending grad school in the fall, but plans change so you never know.

Some things that I am interested in are snail mailing, making Blackout poetry, making my own handmade envelopes, reading, playing video games, and traveling. I also am studying French, so anything to do with Paris or the French language is perfect for me!!!

On a more personal note, I would like to share this with the SB community. I have suffered from depression for the past 8 years, and was recently diagnosed with a general anxiety disorder. I sometimes get worried about what other people will think of me. I would just like to have a good experience and swap with people that can share the love of snail mailing, postcards, ATCs, etc. that I enjoy sending and receiving.

Another thing I REALLY dislike is when people spell my name wrong, especially my first name. My name is not Laura or Lauren, it's Laurel. Please do your best to pay attention to the spelling, as I would do the same for you. Thank you!

If you feel as though the swap I send to you is not up to par, please message me before giving me a 1 or 3 and I will do my best to make things right.

I am beginning to understand that things happen with mail and sometimes when things are postmarked days after the swap ends, it's not always the person's fault because the post office can be odd at times. I no longer think that being late on a swap warrants a 3, unless the person is chronically late and doesn't care. However, if I believe you didn't meet the requirements on a swap and give you a 3, please talk with me about it and we can work something out. When I say talk, I mean it too. If you start sending rude PMs or harassing me about the rating and treating me badly, I will definitely not work with you on giving you a better rating.
