I love getting mail and exchanging cards.

I like taking road trips and visiting local attractions. You never know what you might find. I have always liked zoos and art museums. A few of my favorite places included:

In 2021, I visited Punxsutawney, PA to see the 42 Phantastic Phil statues. Phil is the famous groundhog that predicts the weather on Groundhog Day. My profile picture is of Philatelie who sits in front of the local post office and supports postal workers.

The Wilds is a non-profit safari park and conservation center in Ohio with a one-of-a-kind tour through a reclaimed quarry where you see a variety of unique animals similar to a safari. I have been four times. I wish the place was closer to me.

I visited a series of Garfield statues in Marion, Indiana. Garfield is a big orange cat who is a popular comic strip character. His creator, Jim Davis, is from the area. It is a friendly town and this is a fun, quirky activity to do for an afternoon road trip.

I am always happy to receive postcards, stickers, stationary, nice paper, die cuts, small notebooks, and positive messages!
