Hey! I am a 22 year old nursing major currently residing in Alaska. I collect postcards and am also new to the art of card making. I was a member of postcrossing (a postcard swapping website) for about 5 years and I recently heard about this site as well and am excited to experience the diversity that is offered!
I absolutely love country music; whether its rock, pop or classic. I grew up with it and it has stuck with me ever since. Going to country music festivals is pretty high up there on my list of favorite things to do.
For the most part, I love anything with a catchy beat that makes you want to dance; I'm not picky about the style.
I have stepped away from the crafting world a bit due to being a full-time student as well as working full-time; however, I am trying to ease my way back into it as a way to de-stress and unwind from all the chaos around me.
I've always loved crocheting and basic painting (although I'l be honest and say I've never been the greatest, but I've always had fun).
I've always greatly enjoyed graphic design (is that considered a craft..?), and get a kick out of incorporating my computer designs into tangible projects such as card making, painting, or vinyl/ htv projects.
DIY projects are also a passion of mine; makeup, art supplies, bathroom products.. Nothing is really off limits for me to try to make myself.
Likes: I absolutely love city/ outdoor views of any kind (postcard, painted, drawn, digitized) as it allows me to "travel" to places I've never been. Bright colors. Hand-made items. Girly. Glitter. Postcards (even homemade). Cuddly blankets. Pretty much every color; especially maroon, gold, turquoise, coral, pink, and black. Learning of others life stories as it is always interesting for me to hear what others have overcome and faced. The sunshine/ being warm/ the beach. Rubber stamps. Multi media.
Dislikes: The color brown. "Dark" themed items. Multi-view postcards.
I am sure this list will grow as I get more experience and exposure as to what some people send out. For the most part, I will love anything that has a personal touch and a story with it; if something is meaningful and thoughtful, it will have a place in my heart.
