About Me

I am 54 years old and a widow (damn cancer!). I have a total of 5 kids - 2 are mine (boys), 3 are his (1 girl, 2 boys). All are grown and out of the house! Four grandchildren - 3 boys and 1 girl.

Favorite Music

I love disco and BPM on XM Radio! Upbeat music sounds happy and keeps you moving! Anything from Santana to The Eagles, Bob Seger to Lady Gaga, Pink to Train, The Fray, Nine Inch Nails, Doobie Brothers, Frank Sinatra, Katy Perry, and oh so many others!

Favorite Books

Anything Ken Follett writes. Books about medieval times. The Australians Series published back in the 80's. Colleen McCullough, Steinbeck, Hemingway, Phillippa Gregory, and many others...

Favorite Movies

All time favorite for love story, cinematography, music would have to be Dr. Zhivago. The Hangover. Mama Mia. Old Shirley Temple movies. Singin' in the Rain. Oh Brother Where Art Thou. And, many, many more....

Favorite Television

Modern Family. Glee. Downton Abbey. Big Bang Theory. HGTV. Food Network, The Tudors. Raising Hope. The Good Wife. Revenge. MI-5. Once Upon A Time.

Favorite Crafts

I love to work with paper, fabrics, colors, etc.! Recently I have been obsessed with making matchboxes, gift card boxes and ATCs!

I like naked postcards.

I try to recycle items and pieces leftover from projects by using them in new projects.

When I figured out that there are no rules in crafts/art - that's when the creativity started to roll! My husband thinks I'm crazy! My kids swear I'm OCD! Don't care - I love making things!
