Hello! I am happily married and mom of two teens, one entering high school and one off to first year in college. I get brain-freeze when it comes to writing about myself...
I probably have brain-freeze because I never stop to think what my favorites are of anything, so here goes and I'll give it a try. Music: Like all kinds, depending on mood. I can always listen to classic rock. I like David Cook's music. Never thought I would be listening to country until I moved to the southwest U.S. from the big city, but yes, I listen to country and actually enjoy it - lol. Honestly, I like it all, which reminds me of some guy on that talent show with Simon Cowell, his name is Paul Potts and I thought he was amazing.
I love to read, but it seems the only time I really have is before I got to bed and that gives me about 5 minutes before the book ends up on the bed and I end up snoring. Loved Memoirs of a Geisha. I try to read self-help books if that's what you call it, like The Secret, books by Dyer. Over the years, I've collected sooooo many diet books, it's not even funny.
Love movies. Some of my faves are Forrest Gump, Rock Star, Anchorman, Sense & Sensibility, Like Water for Chocolate, Memoirs of a Geisha...
Oprah. I asked someone if they liked Opera and he said, no, I don't like her. Ha ha I like The Hills and Snoop Dogg Fatherhood, Real Housewives of Orange County, as juvenile as these may seem, they are entertaining to me.
I like instant gratification and crafts haven't done that for me yet. Maybe I just haven't found the right one.
