Thank you for the packet of pheasant feathers and the hand-decorated envelope. On the back porch I held out some of the feathers for my hens to inspect and they said, "bok-bok, boop boop boop," and pecked at my toes.

Did you ever read ΓΕapek's "War With the Newts"? Satire written in mid-1930s that still works today.
