*****Update: Sorry I havent been active at all in the last 6 months, but my husband and I are in the long and hard international adoption process. Once things have settled down (after our home study is complete and our son is back in school) I will be back swapping. I totally understand if you are a group mod and need to drop me for non-activity!********* love to: sew, solder, read comic books, speak in random Japanese phrases with my husband, play Blue's Clues, watch Law and Order, bake cakes, make sculpey, pick my son's nose, dance in my kitchen, play Rock Band, drink bubble tea, know way too much about Star Wars than is healthy, like kawaii culture before it was cool, read silly manga involving girly boys and boyish girls, play around in photoshop, tell "your mom" jokes, watch Food Network with my husband and say things like "omg that looks freaking AWESOME", paint even though I suck at it, make my husband go get me coffee, drink tea, explore San Francisco, pretend that Im in a secret Best Friends Club with Tim Burton and Harry Potter and youre not allowed.
Alkaline Trio.
They get their own level. Dave Matthews Band, U2, Sigur Ros, OAR, Flogging Molly, Hot Water Music, TGUK, Jimmy Eat World, The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Misfits, NFG, Weezer, Coldplay, old school jazz, whatnot.
Obviously Harry Potter. LOTR. Narnia. Redwall. Wind in the Willows. Ok, anything with talking woodland creatures. Jonathan Strange. To Kill a Mockingbird, I read and obsess over Twilight, but let's face it, theyre awful. graphic novels like V for Vendetta, Watchmen, The Long Halloween. Ouran High School Host Club. FLCL. Gris Grimly. Love Hina. Oh! My Goddess. Alice in Wonderland. Wizard of Oz. The Sesame Street Library is also pretty awesome when you have a 3-year-old.
Fight Club.HP. LOTR. POTC. Anything and everything by Tim Burton. Star Wars, anything by Studio Ghibli.
Discovery Channel. Food Network. [adult swim] Charmed. X-files. Scrubs. The Office. 30 Rock. Arrested Development. South Park. The Daily Show. Spongebob. Pokemon. Ninja Warrior. Reno! 911. Heroes. Invader Zim. Drake and Josh. (yes Im 25) Anything on the AZN network. I dont care if its in Mandarin. Sesame Street. Law and effing Order. Blue's Clues episodes with Steve, NOT Joe. I hate that guy.
plushies. sculpey. soldering. mixed media. upcycling. altered art. anything with resin. I would love anything knitted or crocheted. I'm just now learning amigurumi.
My little one is three but is exceptionally bright (actually kinda scary smart) and likes things for older kids like: Star Wars, Harry Potter, Pokemon, spiders, insects, lizards, sea animals, pirates, Spiderman, planes, trucks, cars, trains, puzzles, Discovery Channel. We also like to color together, make costumes and hats out of construction paper, eat sushi, make bento boxes, write letters, paint, play with play-doh, sent letters, play Blue's Clues etc.
