Hello! I am Rhonda. I'm on the verge of 30 years old and live with my boyfriend of almost 3 years and our two cats. I work full-time as a freelance writer, with much of my work focusing on arts and crafts. (Subscribe to my arts & crafts column (linked above) to keep up with what I've been doing!) I enjoy a very wide variety of craft disciplines, including crocheting, jewelry making, and paper crafts.
If you ever don't receive something from me, PLEASE let me know! I am a very reliable swapper and always fulfill my obligations!

Every day for a year starting March 24, 2010, I have challenged myself to create a piece of art.
SPOILER WARNING
I taught myself how to crochet out of a library book when I was about 10 years old. I started out making potholders and scarves, worked my way up to blankets and wraps, and most recently have been obsessed with Amigurumi.
I made this little fella for my boyfriend, who keeps it in his car. He calls it The Navigator. It was my very first Amigurumi, and I wasn't really happy with parts of the face, but my boyfriend thinks it is awesome so I guess that's all that matters!
I've been designing jewelry since elementary school. Over the years, it has evolved into a style of found object assemblage, which lends itself nicely to steampunk.
I made this necklace out of a broken watch and other random bits from a box of broken costume jewelry. The key I found laying on a curb when I was walking down the street one day.
I love sending and receiving postcards. I usually go for handmade postcard swaps, but also do a lot of general postcard swaps. I usually prefer my cards mailed naked, but I do also enjoy a good envie full of nifty cards that I can send on to other people as well.
