I work in many different media, from collage to fiber. I am currently working on several quilts that incorporate my collage techniques with fabric. ATC's are a way for me to use up some of the ephemera I have collected over the years in creative, fun ways.
I am a naturalist and much of what I collect is found natural objects. My fireplace mantle is covered with feathers, turtle shells, crystals, fossils, hurricane balls, birds nests, and the like. I have boxes of the stuff and my desk at work is covered with it too. Needless to say, between the natural objects and my art stuff I drive my husband crazy!

Hello and welcome to the site :D I also quilt and sew, although I am very new to quilting...My hubby is from Richmond, KY! I own a ball python and a leopard gecko.....feel free to add me to your friends list and I would be more than willing to do a private swap with you.....Lisa
I really enjoyed reading your profile! I am a quilter too, and love Quilting Arts and Cloth, Paper, Scissors, although I've sort of gotten sidetracked with paper collage. Too many fun things to do.
If you would ever like to do a private swap, just PM me and we can figure out a fun subject for a theme. It looks like we like lots of the same things. My mantle is covered with fossils, moss, geodes, twigs, and my Obsideon collection. None of my friends will help me move anymore because of all my rocks! I can't blame them, though :-)
