I am a complete girly-girl, through and through. I love pink and pastels... I LOVE candy and cosmetics. I find excitement in all things adorable. I adore cutsie garb that causes others to gag or scoff. I love Hello Kitty and anything inspired by Japanese pop culture (I faithfully read ViVi, PopTeen and sCawaii for inspiration.)
I LOVE anything foreign. I prefer Labello to Chap Stick; Kissing Mint to Stride. I go out of my way to try products from other countries because I find them exciting and fun! My greatest aspiration in life is to be an explorer of new things and places... and that includes knowing what kind of bubble gum people chew in Sweden or what kind of hand soap people lather up with in New Zealand.
I've recently taken an interest in Vladimir Nabokov (particularly his short stories), as well as Ayn Rand and dystopic themes in general. That said, I must establish that I'm by no means a literature snoot -- to be frank, I find the warning label on a tube of toothpaste to be more engrossing than the musings of some 18th century poet.
I prefer light and casual reading. Currently my favorite author is Jacqueline Susann, though sadly I've already reached the end of her less-than extensive library. I also enjoy the Harry Potter books.
Anything that inspires head bobbing and finger snapping, no matter how corny! This includes (but is not limited to) Pet Shop Boys, Falco, Vitas, Depeche Mode, Crowded House, Duran Duran, OMD, Dead or Alive, Madness, New Order, and many, many more!
I don't watch very much TV, save a few late-night re-runs that have garnered my faithfulness. Particularly Frasier and Will & Grace.
I do consistantly follow two programs. The first is Nip/Tuck (though I find the recent season to be somewhat disappointing.) The second is Lost.
I also enjoy old TV shows, particularly The Addams Family and Gilligans Island.
I've always enjoyed crafting. My most recent endeavors include polymer clay cupcake rings with silicone icing (inspired by Japan's deco x lolita trends.)
