Hi! I have been sending letters for a while now, but since it's hard to keep up with friends or family who are not as interested in snail mail as I am, I have turned to the web for more people to correspond with. I attend a small Catholic liberal arts school in Southern California, and I'll be graduating May 2019, God willing. Though SoCal is my home, I am currently living in Wisconsin with my dad, who moved here recently.
I do a lot of reading for school and for fun. I mostly enjoy books about adventure and survival, though I'm pretty flexible with what I read. Since I'm getting a Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, and my emphasis is in theology and philosophy, I do a lot of reading along those lines as well.
My hobbies include acoustic guitar, bicycling, tennis, drawing, painting, photography, and reading about legendary creatures like Bigfoot. I'm a Bigfoot fan.
Above all, my faith is the most important thing to me, though it hasn't always been. Just trying to get to heaven.
I also love to travel (road trips are great) and do adventurous stuff. I've been skydiving, zip lining, rappelling, dirt biking, and more.
I have a Jack Russell named Spot-he's about 14 years old now, and I'm helping to take care of my grandma's dog- a small Yorkie.
Someday, I would like to be a high-school teacher. I want to be the kind of teacher that I was impacted by in high-school. Teachers really can change lives!
God Bless!
My favorite book ultimately is the Holy Bible. It is so calming and centering to read the Gospel.
My favorite work of literature used to be To Kill a Mockingbird, but since it's been so long since I've read, I'll say Don Quixote is my favorite. I also like The Call of the Wild, The Consolation of Philosophy, Paradise Lost, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn,
I like detective shows mostly like Columbo, Murder She Wrote, and of course, Monk . I also like westerns, like Bonanza, the Rifleman, the Big Valley. And of course there's the Andy Griffith show and I Love Lucy. But perhaps my all time favorite show is The Twilight Zone.
I like most genres of music, but I think my favorite type is folk or rock. Think John Denver, Gordon Lightfoot... But I also like U2, the Eagles, the Bee Gees, the Mamas and the Papas, Marty Robbins, Gregorian Chant, Chopin, and Vetiver. My taste is widely varied.
