Hey Sarah! I was so excited to "meet" you as I read over your profile as I vet my upcoming "Ugly/ Tacky/ Bizarre Postcard Swap". Like you, I'm also verging on "crazy cat lady" status with three kitties (Monroe, Sister Asparagus and Earl Grey), who I absolutely love right from their whiskers to their little furry ankles. :)
I wasn't sure if you already knew this curious little fact about cats, but apparently the range of purring frequencies that they have (27 - 44 Hz) actually has been shown to have restorative effects on the body. Awesome, right?
In other news, I was very sorry to read about your dads illness, and I am really looking forward to sending him a note for your "Make my Dad Smile!" swap.
