About Me
~ Hi! My name is Teresa and I live in north Texas
~ I enjoy doing volunteer work and have been part of some really great organizations, including a local creative reuse store I've volunteered at a thrift store, garden clubs and quilt clubs.
~ My heritage is Mexican/German/Lipan Apache My husband's heritage is Hungarian/Polish.
~ Things I love to do...
GARDENING! I have always loved being outside working in the dirt. I grow my own vegetables and use as much as I can in my kitchen and I dehydrate and water bath can what I can. This year my skill goal is to pressure can. I do follow safe-approved recipes. I love flower gardening as well for beauty and for hummingbirds and butterflies and to bring in the good bugs to eat the bad bugs. :-)
~ I shop at thrift stores and garage sales and I dumpster dive.
~ I like fabrics and linens for sewing, quilting and being creative.
~ I love my kitchen even though I’m not a great cook but I do try and I love to read and buy cookbooks, vintage and new and I love to shop for new and old things for decoration and for use. I love copper in the kitchen and my kitchen style is French Country with a Mexican flavor.
I love to read and love books in general. I read romance, romantic suspense, cozy mysteries and love the books that have recipes in them. I read cookbooks, craft books, and decorating, craft, garden magazines galore. I'm also a catalog-aholic.
~ I listen to classic rock-n-roll and pop rock and hard rock from the 70s and 80s and I like country music.
~ I don’t watch a lot of tv but I do like science fiction and futuristic movies. I don't like evil movies or gory stuff. I'm a big fan of Firefly and will watch that over and over. Star Trek, Mandalorian, classic TV cartoons, some HGTV, cooking shows, gardening shows on tv and YouTube channels.

MAKE-UP: ~ eyeshadow: browns, pinks ~ lipstick/lip gloss: deep red/burgundy, deep pink, deep coral ~ No face makeup, please (I have sensitive skin and will break out.)
KITCHEN SWAPS: I really like anything kitchen-y and I love vintage kitchen items. I collect and use wooden spoons. Cookbooks/recipes are always great. I love chicken and/or wine decorations. My kitchen is a mix of Mexican Rustic/Farmhouse French Country with colors of red, green, yellow and black.
CLOTHING: I wear a lot of black and accessorize with red, pink, coral, and white. I am a size 10 for bottoms, and an extra large for tops. I like to wear leggings in the winter with cozy socks and prefer to wear loose, linen pants and skirts or dresses in the summer. Long or 3/4 sleeve, high neckline or button down tops. I prefer dark colors versus pastels.
SOCKS: fuzzy and cozy for winter wear. I don't generally wear socks during the summer unless it's plain white ankle or low socks to wear with Keds-type sneakers.
I DON'T LIKE: Monkeys....they give me the heebie jeebies.
