I am a vintage-loving, piano-playing, 22 year old chick in a bike shop. A self-professed bibliophile, fabric hoarder, plant lover, and photographer, I tend to love anything with words, colors, or neat design.
I dislike the color pink, but not always.
I collect inspiring photographs and words, decorative chopsticks, owls, keys, beautiful notebooks, things with birds on it, blue pens, greeting cards, and patterned paper.
I took a year's worth of English courses before deciding that it was too easy for me and switching to engineering, and then switched to math, and now I'm not a student at all while I save up. I'm a grammar nazi. I toy with the idea of eventually getting a minor in graphic design.
I love old-fashioned florals and modern, clean lines. I try to be as green as possible and recycle or upcycle most things I have. I can never have too many hobo/slouch bags or books to put inside them.
I am an avid coffee drinker and I love wine way too much. Sour/salty candy is my vice.
I love fascinating trinkets, necklaces, and things to hang on my wall. I pick up antique rings whenever I can find my size (5) and am always on the look out for vintage children's books.
I like indie music with female vocals, nice cinematic soundtracks (think: Braveheart, Chronicles of Narnia, Last of the Mohicans), and modern instrumental (e.g. Philip Glass, Kronos Quartet, Joby Talbot). Sometimes I listen to haunting classical music.
Lately I've been back into more alt rock sort of stuff from the late 90s/early 00s and electronica/techno. I admit that sometimes I like dubstep.
I've really been into magical realism lately, or books about people like you and I who happen into extraordinary circumstances. I love fascinating non-fiction about science, math, culture, diy/crafts, or design.
I hate romance novels and most action/mystery/spy novels with the exception of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

Sci-fi, action, and some drama. Definitely no chick flicks or comedy. I'm strange. :)
I LOVE making tiny artwork. A 4x6 canvas feels big to me. I make little stuffed things (like a stuffed felt toast), collages, and whatever else strikes my fancy.
I doodle a lot, paint occasionally, and take pictures of everything. Baking and cooking is also my thing, and a craft of its own.
I was super active in this community two years ago, but after a huge life shift (including getting married) I sorta drifted off. Now I'm looking forward to having an excuse to share my finds or random things with people. Looking forward to swapping with you!
