About ME...I'm a mom of 4 and LOVE them all dearly! I'm about to be a Nana to my first grandbaby! It's a GIRL!I have admired Frida Kahlo since I was a teenager and have tried to live my life with her energy and appreciation. I am part indian (Tarahumara, Jicarilla Apache) and mexican. I like being both and it shows in the way I dress and the music I listen to. I have overcome a lot of ugliness in my life (especially in my childhood)...mostly the abuse suffered at the hands of my father for about 10 yrs. of my life. I am lucky, I survived! I know there are still too many lives lost due to violence...I want to be a part of bringing awareness to issues such as this. From my own experience, I hope to empower at least ONE person to walk away from an abusive situation, or to inspire people to take a stand against the the many violent atrocities aimed towards women in Juarez, Africa, Guatemala (to name a few)!

My favorite music is almost ANY music except most rap and twangy country songs. I LOVE Robert Mirabal, Lila Downs, Freddy Fender, Bette Midler, Juanes, Mana, Mariachis...

Favorite movies are "Frida", "Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants", "Real Women Have Curves", "In The Time Of Butterflies", "Ask The Dust", "Smoke Signals", "Business Of Fancy Dancing"...need I say more?

Currently my favorite TV shows are "Ugly Betty", "Meerkat Manor" and "Cold Case"

My favorite crafts are making porcupine quill earrings and dreamcatchers.
