Hi!

I'm an 18 year old [19 on June 20th] girl/woman from a small town called 'Suffield' in Connecticut, in the U.S. I've lived here my whole life, and it has always seemed small to me.

But after going to my first year at the University of Connecticut/UConn, it seems even smaller. There I am currently majoring in Political Science, but I'm not quite sure what I'd like to do with my life. I'm toying with the idea of being a lawyer, because I love debating, but I'm still unsure.

I'm a fairly random person. I hate silence, and thus I always have music going. Or, when I'm sleeping, music and a fan. I more or less like everything, save for the vast majority of rap/R&B and country.

At UConn, I got in to English Country dancing. Yes. You read that right. And by English Country dancing, I'm talking dances from roughly three-hundred years ago in England, during the time of Jane Austen. The one-credit class I took was actually called 'Dancing With Jane Austen', and I'm mentoring it for the Fall 2007 Semester.

For the first time, I also got in to vaginas. To be specific, I got in to "the Vagina Monologues". I assistant directed, and I loved all my girls that were in it. It isn't just a bunch of women talking about sex, and by seeing it you ARE helping end violence against women, because all the proceeds are donated to charities that support that cause.

I love movies, and usually go to the theater at least once every two weeks.

I also love photography. I'm on my third camera, which is currently a two-year old Canon A75 Powershot. I'm on deviantART [psychosomat1c], and I also participate in "adayinmylife @livejournal com. I take pictures mainly of the sky, but basically anything that looks interesting to me I'll take a picture of: street art, an older car, sunset, anything funny at work... anything that catches my eyes. Which is why I now never leave my house without my camera.
