10/13/09: I've recently been going through a rough patch in my life lately and have unfortunately let it affect my swapping. I apologize to all of my partners. I have had a wonderful time being involved with this site and am hoping to get back into swapping (as long as others are still willing to swap with me). I've always thought of myself as an ultra dependable person, but I just haven't been myself lately. All that being said I will be sending out all my late swaps in the next couple of days and rating the swaps I have received in the past 2 weeks. Please feel free to message me if you're wondering about the status of your swap. Once again I apologize to all my partners and hope I can make it up to you.
I recently moved from California to the D.C. metro area (finally have an address to sign up with, yay). I have only been into scrapbooking, card making, etc... for about a year, but I'm totally hooked. I finally found a crafty thing I'm good at (all my friends laugh at me because I can't sew a thing, not even a button). In general, I read and write a lot, scrapbook, watch insane amounts of movies, go for drinks and sleep when I can actually keep my mind from thinking about random things.
Anything by F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Count of Monte Cristo (very long, but very worth reading), lots of random nonfiction, sports biographies (I'm really into inspirational sports, just not baseball for some reason), random chick lit (sometimes I'm just in the mood), etc...more to come (I read a lot).
In case you can't tell from my member name I am completely obsessed with The Beatles (the band, not the bug). I wouldn't even be the person I am today without the Beatles music (and I wasn't even alive during that generation, far from it :). Although I am very Beatle loyal I listen and enjoy most music. The only thing I really can't stand listening to is country music (old country, new country, etc...). Other bands/musicians I enjoy are: The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, The Ramones, OutKast, any type of girl group from the 50's/60's, etc... more to come.
So many movies....of course I love all the Beatles movies (Help! being my personal favorite). Office Space, Clerks 1 & 2, The Goonies, Scarface, Finding Nemo, Silence of the Lambs (and all the other Hannibal movies), Scent of a Woman, anything with Edward Norton (great actor and I find him great looking :), Harold and Kumar Go to Whitecastle, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, anything with River Phoenix (personal favorite being Dogfight), in general any Disney cartoons (Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, etc...), A Christmas Story (oh my god, I shot my eye out!), again more to come. As with music I have a very broad movie taste, my boyfriend makes fun of me because I'm just as happy watching Scarface as I am Cinderella.
I find Family Guy absolutely hilarious and tend to quote it at very random times. I also really like One Tree Hill (although I didn't get into it for a very long time). Other shows including: The Simpsons, House, Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, etc...
Scrapbooking, card making, baking (although i don't know if that is technically considered a craft when I do it...I go for taste not look :). Like I mentioned earlier I can't sew at all, yet I own lots of buttons (for all my scrapbooking).
