Response: Thank you so much! I love it as well! I was pretty happy with how the crackle came out. I saw the acetate trick in a Youtube video but they used Ultra thick embossing powder/chunks. Totally a trick I will use again. :)

Response: Oh thank you so much! I loved making it, my inner 80's self had a blast. I do admit I have a higher budget for neon paints, currently have Golden in hard body, Liquitex in soft body, and Amsterdam/Royal Talens in inks. I find budget and craft neons are either too weak or not well formulated. But I just get a tube or bottle every now and then to not make it hurt so much, haha!

Comment: These are so fun and varied! I especially love the stenciled mica powders (so shimmery) - when you say "set with acrylic," do you mean like a spray sealer? Thanks so much for all the lovely papers!
Response: I am thrilled you like them. I pulled the print with acrylic paint which seems to 'set' the mica powder and it doesn't seem to migrate. :) But I am sure an extra coat of spray sealer would also help. And if you feel any don't fit the theme, please let me know and I will happily send more! :)

Comment: Thanks so much for the frog PC- are tomato pickles even a thing? I’ll eat tomatoes in pico, salsa, and cooked sauces but other than that, I’m not a fan either! We do have a few plants growing but my hubby and middle son are the ones that eat those tomatoes!

My grandmother told a story about meeting him at a cocktail party on Cape Cod: she said she'd heard that his wife also painted and he said he rather she be cooking. Since no one had seen her paintings, they didn't know what to make of his remark.

Response: I love finding new ways to use my plate and apply the paints and inks. Splattering is a lot of fun, very messy, and hard to predict the outcome. Music pages and old atlas maps are some of my favourite backgrounds for some of my prints. I am super glad you enjoyed what I came up with for this swap. And it is great when the little ones find something they love as well. 😄 I will be sure to keep an eye open for more kid-friendly tennis (my local dollar store gets them a bit) And I love those oil ink pens so much! I find they will write on almost anything. I really like the Inktense line (they have both pencils and blocks) because they do dry permanent. I love the look of watercolour but always have a hard time with the layering of colours. I bought myself a watercolour set (Jane Davenport set) a while ago but don't use them as much as I should. It is on my goals list this year, haha! Can't wait to see more art from both of you!

Comment: Where in the world do I start...except to say that no I did not wait to open the ENTIRE package. I absolutely am thrilled with everything in the box. The Bag your hubby made was fabulous! I love all the cookie cutters and the fun paper goodies (which everyone knows I have a soft spot for). I adore (seriously...adore) the little Grim Reaper in the coffin. He is sooo freaking adorable! And the beautiful beaded dangles are awesome! The big dangle will indeed be put in a special place. (Still deciding). Thank you sooo very much Dawn! I am so glad you like the little Reaper. He is kind of a pain in the *ss to make so I only make him for the Super Special! I knew I wanted to include the coffin somewhere so thought his presentation would be top-notch. :) I have really enjoyed making the dangles this year. Then, those wonderful handmade painted papers (ALL OF THEM), the garment is beautiful (my first one ever)... Are those small stickers handmade? I am jelous!! Ok, I think the stickers are handmade just popped a longer strip and definitely they are painted by you (I love them), I found the label ready to stick and the green paper made into sticker, the embellishments and please write me and tell me how to use the Rusty LanternLime powder. Response: Haha! I am so glad you like it! The round stickers are handmade. I used my gelli plate and stamps/stencils on them. They are just cheap round label stickers but they turn out super cute! The tree was from a sheet of die cuts that I had thought to use in a postcard but it was too thick. I will send you a message on ways to use the magicals powder. Have fun playing with it all!

Comment: Such a magical swap! Where to begin! First, the envie! Love it, and the Star Trek stamps...ahh... <3 Then the note card with the key. I need those note cards :D And the beautiful translucent paper the cards were in, what is that? I have to know! :D And then....the cards themselves...what gorgeous pieces of art!!! They're unlike anything I've ever seen before, magical! All those details! And the techniques and everything, I love them so much! You should work with a deadline more often haha :D <3

Vancouver sure seems interesting what cultural events are concerned. The little vintage cards, what are they ? Were they for collecting ? They are so cute, as well as the bunny book. The crocheting needles are perfect for some of my future projects. I hope you will be as pleased with my package as I am with yours !

I think the cards you are asking about are from a set of cards for a kids' game called Snap!, I believe it may be similar to Old Maid but have never played myself. My mom found those, she is always bringing me goodies she finds in the hopes I can make something out of it. Thank you so much for swapping with me and also thank you for the heart.
