Comment: Thanks for your list and the fun PC. We have a /tea House on the Cape that we like to go to for afternoon tea. I brew the tea the proper /british way but it still doesn't come out like theirs.
Comment: Thanks for joining the swap. I enjoyed your explanation of the Passover elements. It's great to get to hear what the Lord is showing others about His Word!
Comment: love the list and the flowers of Israel card. Oh I would love to had seen Jerusalem back in the day... even now would be awesome but I reckon I will just have to await seeing the New Jerusalem ....later. xxx Thank you 3/10
Comment: Thank you for the Windsor Gate postcard. I visited there 3 times back in my high school days. I was in taking French and every Spring Break we took a 10 day European vacation I was fortunate enough to go on 3 years in a row.
Comment: Thank you for this great pc, Karen. Yes, small world, I used to live in Corvallis. My son and mother-in-law still live there. Happy swapping, Carola
Comment: Thank you so much for resending! I really appreciate it <3 Love the pc too -- I've been thiinking about a "Wild West" junk journal so this card will go into my f/pile of items for it :-)) I'm sure I wouldn't have survived the hard life of the pioneers!
Comment: Thank you so much for the Canada postcard, Karen! I lived in Oregon for a number of years and had the chance to do a couple of drives up to or near BC as well. Absolutely beautiful.
Comment: Thanks for the postcard neighbor. I too love summer in Oregon. I'm not sure when your postcard arrived I've been in SF visiting my daughter and just returned this evening. Oh I wanted to ask where did you find the postcard I've not seen on like it.
Comment: Oh, Professor Mittens, I'm so sorry to hear about your list of mis-names! Humans do love to do that, don't we? I'm sure you're not a dairy product! :) Thanks for the postcard!
Comment: Karen,
About Rachmaninoff, did you learn Rachmaninoff on a Theme by Paganini? I love that piece. I first heard it in the movie Somewhere in Time, and fell in love with it 💜
Thanks for the fab Advert. Postcard - love the cat in the sunlight and shadows 🐈🐈⬛
Happy swapping!
Comment: Not a trick question 😀 but I didn't think about how nearly everything has *some* tech element to it! The wahing machine is a good one though - I'd wear really dirty clothes if we had to wash by hand! Love the card - Hawaii is my Paradise!
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful Tea Set PC and telling me about your family! At least with all those aunts and uncles you probably have a bunch of great cousins. For me cousins were like brothers that lived in another house. Sometimes they needed to be in another house! LOL! Have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Diane
Comment: thank you for the things you remember about grade school. Being sent to hallway for the thank you for the card and the reason you gave sound a lot like the crap the nuns pulled on all the children in my catholic school.. They were horrible witches. Was this catholic school or public school you went to ?
Comment: It's so nice to get snail mail from family! We dont do that much anymore! You got a new phone too!? Oh wow! Very good news!! Enjoy! Happy Swapping!
Comment: Thank you for the card - better late than never! I'm rating the 5 due to the circumstances, and you're new here. Good to keep in mind is that it's best, in the future, to let your partner(s) and host know when you plan on mailing late so you don't get rated down. I hope your interviews have brought a new and wonderful opportunity!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely note and card. With the beginning of this year, I started picking up a bouquet of flowers every two weeks to put on my kitchen island. They make me smile. Happy swapping
Comment: Hi Karen ! what a wonderful surprise, to get a recipe postcard from you. I love recipe postcards and very seldom see them in swaps. I look forward to trying the Idaho Baked Potato soup. It sounds so dang yummy! Thanks so much ! Oh, I do too, love to cook and bake and I'm always looking for someone to do a Private swap with for Recipes.
Comment: Thank you for the pretty rose garden postcard! Best one I have received in a while. We have Denver Botanic Gardens, and I plan on going there this summer.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely teas, note and such a gorgeous postage stamp. I did not really notice a delay (your envelope came on the exact same date as my other partner’s envelope in this swap ;-) ), but it is very kind of you to be so considerate.
Comment: thank you! your postcard arrived in a plastic bag as it looks like dog bit off the corner (or it got caught in the machine) with the postage, so I think you win for the "ugliest!"
Comment: Thank you so much for the tea! I'm excited to try the Tulsi sweet rose and I love double bergamot, but haven't bought it for myself in forever!
Comment: Thank you for the tea, letter and bookmark. I too have listened to Mr. Weiner speak and have a signed copy of his book. He was friends with a friend of my mother inlaws (who grew up in Portland, now lives in Washougal). Such a great story, sad but great. I also read a lot of Holocaust accounts and historical fiction. I wish you a beautiful day!
Comment: Thank you for the fabulous teas!
Yes, I have been to Lost and Found Crafts several times, they just moved to a new, bigger location. I'm excited to see what they will have. Scrap is a fun place, too! I haven't been there in a while. Maybe this weekend when I am in Washougal I will hop over to Portland for a Powels and Scrap visit!
