Description:
Winter is so harsh on our lips that we are all carrying tubes of lip balm around with us. For this swap you will make your partner one crochet lip balm holder (with a ring or clip for attaching) and a tube of lip balm that fits it. Senders choice of style and color. Please read partner's profile for allergies, and use wool only if your partner says it's okay. You can google several different version, but here's a link I like. http://sites.google.com/site/mimicsa/freepatterns Requirements: So easy. Make, include lip balm, wrap, send by date, rate partner fairly. Swapper Requirements: Newbies with complete profile filled out. Experienced swappers can't have any 1's for no sends. Please, if you don't really have the time, or skill to make this don't sign up. I always check before assigning partners and ban anyone who has slipped in ratings or is posting on their profile that they will late in sending for any reason. I reserve the right to exclude anyone if I believe they will create problems for other swappers.

Hhmmm, well Crochet makes up into a stiffer form, but if you can knit one like icord, or in the round that keeps its shape that would be okay. Knitting is usually much thinner and too floppy for a cozy, but if you can get around that give it a shot.

does the one in the photo have a flap to close it. or it is open with a fringe around top?

The kind I make are open at the top with a loop and keyring or lanyard clip. I've seen some that have a button and flap as well. You make any style as long as it fits the tube of lip gloss and has a way to attach it (clip, ring etc.)

may i please ask that my partner does not make mine in pink or purple. i hate them colors and it wont make me happy if i get a pink or purple one. thanks
