Description:

I've hosted this a few times and it is great fun. Here is what you do:

Collect found randomness from your everyday life, mostly paper probably, and mail it to your two partners. By found randomness I mean the following types of things: a cute tag from your new jeans, a fun catalog, theater programs, a tea bag of your favorite tea, a cool placemat, promotional postcards, clean scraps of paper you find while out on a walk, work promotional freebies, free bookmarks from your public library, junk mail with neat art on it, tourist brochures from your town, pretty candy wrappers, a paper restaurant menu, a section of your local newspaper, a very inexpensive goodie from a craft fair, a note card you bought at a yard sale, a brochure from your vacation, a recipe your aunt gave you, a random photo you took, the pamphlets handed out during a parade, a free pen from a local business, a cool small thing you received in a swap, and the stickers you get at the doctor for being a good patient (you still ask for them too, right? :)

Note: Found randomness is different than regular crafting randomness. It is not a bunch of collage scraps. This is not a de-stash craft supplies swap. Please do not sign up just to de-stash ephemera that you have already collected.

Anything goes as long as it is not dirty or beaten up and your partners have not specified that they dislike this kind of thing. The idea is to get a little glimpse of somebody else's life through their found randomness. About a five days' collection of randomness is good to send. I like to collect everything interesting I 'find' in a few days and not send as much older stuff.

Include a note with the swap name and your name. It is also nice to write about where you got or how you used the things you are sending.

International since this is low cost and we want to see found randomness from all over the world!

Do not sign up if you cannot send or cannot send on time.

Have fun.

Will have to ban without notice people signing up with less than a 4.99 rating, recent or unexplained 1s or 3s, and/or fishy profiles.

I LOVE this idea! I'm new, but have a few ratings under my belt now and am excited to join this swap! I'm so interested to see what I find and what comes my way via the mail!
